A memorable motorcycle tour on the fantastic roads of beautiful southern Italy and Sicily.
Rome, the eternal city, is a place like no other. Our tour starts here and while heading south we have time
to admire the beautiful scenery and some famous landmarks, like Mount Vesuvius, the world-famous
Costa Amalfitana and the buried city of Pompeii. Along the stunning coast or on tiny, super-twisty roads
in the hinterland we continue towards the southern tip of mainland Italy, catch the ferry, and off we go to
Sicily.
The largest island in the Med welcomes us with lush vegetation and a special vibe that sets it apart from
the rest of Italy. On our rest day in Taormina you can explore the cobblestoned alleys of this beautiful
town or take your bike out for a ride, like around Mt. Etna, Europe’s tallest and most active volcano. Or get
up early and do both, it’s worth it!
Sicily is roughly triangular, and we are going to visit all three sides. Cefalù, in the north, is famous for its
stunningly beautiful old town, while Agrigento, in the south, enters the “best of Sicily” contest with its
Valley of the Temples. Our tour ends in Catania, in the east, within sight of Mt. Etna. Ahhh, bella Italia…

The daily riding kilometres are approximate distances and may vary.
The first and last days mentioned in the itinerary are the arrival and
departure days; there is no riding on these days. Bear in mind the
time difference between your country of origin and your travel
destination. Arrival time should be arranged before 3 pm on the
arrival day. This is the route for the tour that starts in Rome. If you
choose to begin your journey in Catania, the itinerary will be
reversed. Please book your flights accordingly. Route and overnight
places may change due to unforeseen events.

Alan, Marko und Domenico – unsere Erfahrung war in jeder Hinsicht perfekt. Vom Start der Tour in Sizilien bis zu ihrem Ende in Rom stand ein
breites Lachen stets auf unserem Gesicht, und es war kaum möglich, all die Bilder, Gerüche und Geräusche mit unseren Sinnen zu erfassen. Wir
haben vor allem die vielen kleinen Bergdörfer bestaunt, in denen wir meist unsere Pausen verbrachten. Hier haben wir unsere Batterien mit Espresso und
Gesprächen mit den Einheimischen aufgetankt, oder wir sind einfach dagesessen und haben versucht, die unzähligen und einzigartigen Momente in unser
Gedächtnis einzubrennen. Während der Tagesfahrten waren wir stets überwältigt von der Landschaft und die kurvigen Bergstraßen waren einfach
unglaublich zu fahren. Den Fahrtwind genießend haben wir die Tour schließlich auch mit einem weinenden Auge beendet, denn keiner von uns wollte, dass sie zu Ende geht.
Würden wir die Reise wieder buchen? Natürlich und ohne zu zögern.
