Learning Objectives
After the course, participants should be able to:
• understand the benefits and technique for minimally invasive
THA through the DAA.
• gain (preliminary) surgical skills for performing total
Hip Arthroplasty through the DAA.
• determine the necessary steps for patient positioning and
draping associated with the procedure.
Participant Profile
This course is aimed at experienced surgeons with a special interest
in minimally invasive hip surgery through the DAA. It is of particular
benefit not only to those surgeons looking to adopt the DAA in
their local clinical practice, but also for those who are already
exposed to the DAA and want to improve it. The course will be held
in English, requiring a good level of competency in this language.
