Events The Center for Continuing Education is available for continuing education events held by academic institutions that have no political or religious
affiliation.

Opening Hours
The Center for Continuing Education is open Monday through Saturday 7:30am to 5:00pm.

Reservations Room reservations and other arrangements are binding for both parties upon receiving a confirmation from the Center for Continuing Education.
Provisional bookings are held for one month.

Hours Charged
Rooms may be fully used for the entire duration of the agreed rental.
Use of rooms outside the agreed rental times (e.g. for setting up) will be charged according to the price list.

Cancellations - up to 30 days before event: no charge
- 29 to 15 days before event: 50% of rental costs
- 14 and fewer days before event: 75% of all agreed costs
- 1 business day (24 hours) before event: 100% of all agreed costs

Terms of Payment
Bills are to be paid in full to the Center for Continuing Education within 30 days of the date issued.

Liability in Case of Damage The holder of the event is liable for loss and damage incurred by employees or participants. To avoid incurring damage, decorating rooms and using other objects must be coordinated with the Center for Continuing Education. In all cases, the holder of the event must ensure that such material adheres to fire safety regulations.

InsuranceThe holder of the event is responsible for insuring any material, clothing, and objects brought to the event; the Center for Continuing Education may not be held liable for theft or damage.

Number of Participants
The number of participants given one business day (24 hours) before the event is binding and serves as the basis for minimum charges for rooms and any requested catering.

Events outside opening hours
For events held outside opening hours,
additional charges are levied:
a) a lump sum of CHF 50.00
b) a security detail at CHF 54.00/hour
Veranstaltungen Das Zentrum für Weiterbildung (ZWB) steht universitätsnahen
Institutionen für Weiterbildungsveranstaltungen ohne religiöse oder
politische Inhalte zur Verfügung.

Betriebsöffnungszeiten Das Zentrum für Weiterbildung ist von Montag bis Samstag,
07:30 bis 17:00 geöffnet.

Reservationen Die Reservation von Räumen und die Vereinbarung sonstiger
Leistungen werden mit schriftlicher Bestätigung durch das Zentrum
für Weiterbildung an den Veranstalter für beide Seiten verbindlich.
Provisorische Buchungen halten wir einen Monat pendent.

Teilnehmerzahl Die bis einen Werktag (24 Stunden) vor dem Anlass gemeldete
Teilnehmerzahl ist verbindlich und dient als minimale
Verrechnungsbasis für Räume und allfällige Verpflegungsleistungen.

Verrechnungszeiten Unsere Räume stehen Ihnen für die reservierte Mietzeit zur Verfügung.
Für die Benützung der Räume ausserhalb der vereinbarten Zeiten (z.B.
Einrichtung am Vortag) verrechnen wir die Raummieten gemäss
Preisliste.

Annullationsbedingungen - bis 30 Tage vor Anlass: keine Kosten
- 29 bis 15 Tage vor Anlass: 50% der Raummiete

Zahlungsbedingungen Rechnungen vom Zentrum für Weiterbildung sind innert 30 Tagen ab
Rechnungsdatum ohne Abzug zahlbar.

Haftung bei Schäden Der Veranstalter hat für Verluste und Beschädigungen, die durch seine
Mitarbeitenden oder Veranstaltungsteilnehmenden verursacht
werden, einzustehen. Um allfällige Schäden zu vermeiden, ist das
Anbringen von Unterrichtsmaterial und anderen Gegenständen stets
mit dem Zentrum für Weiterbildung abzusprechen. In jedem Fall hat
der Veranstalter darauf zu achten, dass derartiges Material
feuerpolizeilichen Anforderungen entspricht.

Versicherung Die Versicherung mitgebrachter Objekte, Kleider und Materialien ist
Sache des Veranstalters. Das Zentrum für Weiterbildung lehnt jegliche
Verantwortung für Diebstahl und Beschädigung ab.
Erfüllungsort und Gerichtsstand ist Zürich.
