LOOKING FOR AN AWESOME ADVENTURE?
For more than 60 years, Camp Tanah Keeta has provided fun and adventure
for thousands of youth and adults. Our program offers more than just
merit badges, it is crafted to teach life skills, allow Scouts to express self
reliance, demonstrate discipline, challenge themselves and just have fun.
We pledge to deliver a program so awesome that each participant will
realize their true potential and leave us with a sense of accomplishment,
reinforced self-esteem and memories that will last a lifetime.
Camp Tanah Keeta is located in South Florida just 3 miles from the Atlantic
Ocean. Its coastal location provides the camp a steady easterly breeze
providing a cooler more comfortable atmosphere both day and night.
Our Boy Scout camp includes outstanding programs for both new and
experienced Scouts alike. We offer more than 60 merit badges that
range from basics like Handicrafts, Shooting Sports and Ecology to more
challenging Aquatics, water adventure trek and Project C.O.P.E.

Provisional Campers
The provisional camper program allows your Scout to
attend summer camp without his own troop or adult
leaders. The Scout will become a part of a Tanah Keeta
“Provisional Troop” for the week. Our provisional
troop is also popular with Scouts wanting to attend
additional weeks of camp and earn more merit badges.
If you are a Florida troop that is traveling to an “outof-state” summer camp, we recommend that any
Scout that is not traveling with your unit be given the
opportunity to sign up provisional at Tanah Keeta.
