Jasmine brings a remarkable gift to the
stage that few are blessed w ith. Although
she is small in stan lrc. ber voice can echo
the halls where s h e ' performing and
be )'ond as if coming directly from the
giltes of heaven . When we first heard her
p ur ·ound coming from the tage a few
years back, we stopped everything to explore who and whe re that music was
coming from . Everyone w ho as pr - nt
at the venue in Sturgis did the same . With
hair flowing in the South Dakota wind,
this gorgeous young lady, dwarfed by her
guitar, was casually perched on a rickety

old stool belting out Joplin's "Bobby
Mc ee " t wa, (> n o f J:l'i m i c' "un plugged " sets, going out to a fe w hundred biker folks.
She giggles and goofs off between
tunes , providing insight into the dues
p aid and ro ads traveled that bik ers
understand and respect more than any
other grou p on thi~ planet. Jasmine is the
real deal and her down home roots and
hard work ethic provide the ego management to keep her balanced.
She grew up on a ranch just outside of
Sturgis. Her education was private-well,
kind of anyway. She was schooled in a
one-room schoolhouse with 20 kids of all
ages. Her bus ride was her horse. Yes, she
rode a horse to school each clay and her
love of animals equaL<;; her love of music.
Life on the ranch doing chores and
handling hard South Dako t a w inters
taught Jasmine much, and she is mature
beyond her years. At the age of four, she
picked up her daddy 's guitar and
strummed out a few cords. The old man
taught her a few more. Jasmine has never
had a voice lesson or formal education
with a guitar. She defines her success as
that of being self-taught , with a lot of
hard work thrown in.
Her folks were very conservative and
not too accepting of her love for rock 'n'
roll, and Jasmine found herself competing with her brother for time on her
dad 's guitar. But her time and patience
has paid off as she developed the highenergy sound she 's become known for.
After many years of paying dues and
dragging her guitar around with several
bands, Jasmine has put together her own
band and become famous for playing at
biker rallies across the country, including
all of our Easyriders/V-Twin Bike Shows
this winter and Motorcycle Rodeos this
summer. You 'll also fi nd the Jasmine Cain
Band at the famous Broken Spoke Saloon
in Stllrgis this August, playing every day
during the Rally.
Jasmine writes all her own songs and
produces her albums with the band 's
input.. Her tight knit group includes Jeff
Coughran on lead guitar, David Michael
Thomas on keyboards and Joe Yager on
dn uns. Jasmine handles the mighty bass
guitar and belts out lead vocals. Her new
CD Lock & Keys is available through her
Web site now at ·www.jasminecain.com.
It includes 10 incredible songs , from
hard-driving rock to powerful ballads and
even a bit of country southern rock.. One
listen and we think you 'll agree th a t
Jasmine Cain is poised to take ()ver the
rock world. one devotee at a time.

I Tell You It's Been
Me Nuts for Yearsl ...
... I guess the heat and sunlight dull up the wrinkle or something. Guess what? I've solved the
problem big time. The guys from S 100" gave me a can of their new S 100 Engine Brightener
to try, You won't believe it. but in only a few minutes I got my engine looking like it just rolled
out of the factory. This was a bunch of weeks ago and since then I've washed it three or four
times and ridden a lot of miles. Still looks great l
new, this is the stuff to use' " Full
