Project Shakespeare – Two Shows Tour To Eight Communities
Project Shakespeare is celebrating 22
years of presenting engaging and accessible
Shakespeare productions for the entire family. This summer, Project Shakespeare tours
the double-feature of Shakespeare In Love and
Macbeth to eight communities.
Project Shakespeare Too!, for ages six to
12, features Shakespeare In Love, song, dance,
speeches, and scenes from Shakespeare’s bestloved plays: Romeo & Juliet, Much Ado About
Nothing, 12th Night, and As You Like It.
Project Shakespeare’s Mainstage Company, for ages 12 to 18, and selected PS
Too! Students, features Macbeth, a haunting
story of ambition and its dark consequences.
Returning from war, Macbeth and Banquo
encounter three weird sisters. Their prophecy triggers the rise and fall of Macbeth from
military hero to ruthless tyrant as he and his
wife seize the throne of Scotland.
Performances are planned for Saturday,
July 30th at Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge;
Sunday, July 31st at Oribe Barn in Jaffrey
