There will not be sports drinks or energy gels on the course.
3. Where can we park for the races?
The Anthem Wicked 10k starts at the Virginia Beach Convention Center on 19th Street and ends on the Boardwalk near
20th street. There will be limited parking at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. We recommend parking at the 19th

4. Is there a dry bag check?
Yes, there will be dry bag check located at the Virginia Beach Convention Center and bags can be dropped off between
6:30a.m and 7:45a.m. Bags must be picked up immediately following your race at the end of the finish line chute on
the boardwalk. The Dry-Bag area will close at 11:00a.m. As a new safety requirement, every runner will receive a clear
plastic bag at packet pick-up that MUST be used for your gear check bag. We WILL NOT accept any other bags. All bibs
will include a gear check tag that will need to be removed from your bib and tied to the bag before you turn it into
gear check on race morning. J&A Racing is not responsible for any lost items so please do not leave valuables in your
dry bag.
5. What time should I get there?
We encourage you to arrive early to ensure a good parking spot and to get to the start line with plenty of time.
6. Is there a time limit?
Participants must complete the race under 2 hours (maintaining a 20 min per mile pace).
7. Are there corrals?
There will be 10 starting corrals for the 10k and only one corral for the Mile. Your corral assignment will be noted on
your race bib. If you feel like you have been placed in the wrong corral you can move back in corrals without any
question but if you want to move forward you must have your corral changed by visiting the Solutions booth at the
expo after you retrieve your race number.
