GNSS Solutions
Innovation from the leader–
designed for your construction
site operations
GNSS Solutions
Trimble GPS systems are guided by the powerful
Trimble RTK engine. Stronger signal acquisition from
more satellites–including GLONASS and modernized
GPS– means you can run faster, longer and without
interruptions.
Future-ready, now
Trimble site positioning systems support all currently
available positioning constellations including
OmniSTAR, SBAS, GPS and GLONASS signals and
will track the modernized GPS L5 signal when it
becomes available. You won’t have to invest in
new systems to take advantage of the latest signal
capabilities.
Options that grow with you
Trimble GPS systems are designed to meet the
specialized needs of the construction industry. You
can choose among a range of options to suit your
individual applications, flexibility and performance
requirements.
Advantages of satellite positioning
Using satellite positioning signals from the currently
available GPS and GLONASS satellites and all
available correction systems, the Trimble Site
Positioning System GPS receivers are well-suited
to work anywhere that has a clear line of sight to
the sky. Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS delivers
centimeter level (0.03) accuracy–even when you’re
on the move–making it well suited to on vehicle
or machine operations. RTK GPS technology can
provide accurate positions at long distances from
the base station, so most construction sites are
covered from a single set-up location.

Internet-Enabled Base Stations
The Trimble SNM910 cellular modem is designed
specifically to connect a Trimble base station to
the internet. This allows a single base station
to extend precise GNSS coverage to remote or
off-site projects such as borrow pits, dump sites
or other projects within an 18 mile range and
provides more flexibility for the setup of GNSS
infrastructure on large projects.
SMART VS. MODULAR RECEIVERS
The Smart GPS Receiver concept gives you everything you need in one single unit (SPS882). The
Smart GPS Antenna is your ideal configuration
for rover systems mounted on a rod or supervisor
vehicle and allows for fast daily set ups as a
base station.
The Modular GPS Receiver (SPS852) can be used
as either a base station or a rover and provides
the flexibility to be configured for your specific jobsite needs. It’s modular design allows you to leave
the receiver and radio secured in the site trailer, or
vehicle, while only the antenna is exposed.
SPS852 Applications
• Permanent and semi-permanent

CCS900 3D Compaction Control System
CCS900 Compaction
Control System
The Trimble CCS900 Compaction Control System
enables the contractor to accurately control the
compaction process, while reducing unnecessary
passes that result in over compaction. The system
achieves compaction density faster, more accurately,
with less rework. The early detection of subsurface material anomalies means that soft spots
and hidden obstructions can be excavated and
re-graded or compacted prior to the more costly
phases of the construction process such as paving.
Compaction results are recorded and stored
for analysis and generation of documentation
deliverables at the end of the project.

GCS900 Features and Benefits
Trimble GCS900 Grade Control System:
Top advantages over other after-market systems
Finish faster with fewer machines
It’s the only GPS system that lets you run at higher speeds without losing accuracy. Faster data transfer, linear receivers, faster valve
response and more robust components allow you to finish projects faster.
Auto Side Shift Option for Motor Grader – Trimble Exclusive
The Auto Side Shift option is ideal for grading linear sections such as curbs, centerlines, and other alignments. This option controls
the side shift of the grader blade, automatically following the selected alignment. The Auto Side Shift option maximizes alignment
accuracy, especially around curves and reduces operator fatigue by eliminating the need to manually control the blade.
Two antennas are better than one – Trimble Exclusive
Only Trimble’s patented dual antenna system gives you exact course and blade position, not the estimated position. Less error always
means more productivity.
Change sensors, not machines
Trimble Grade Control Systems use industry standard Controller Area Network (CAN) harnesses that allow sensors to be moved from
machine to machine. Need more accuracy? Add laser augmentation to your GPS system.
One system for all, and all for one
Only Trimble Grade Control is flexible enough to let you equip your entire fleet—dozers, graders, scrapers and excavators—with fully
upgradable technology. Start where you need to start and add as you need to add. Sonic, slope, total station, laser, GPS 3D–select the
best option for the machine and application. Trimble productivity is smart productivity.
Speaking of smart productivity...
Only Trimble offers the MS992 GNSS Antenna and integrated GPS receiver and antenna, designed to provide maximum portability,
flexibility and accuracy under the toughest construction conditions you’ll ever encounter.
Make your average operators, GREAT!
The GCS900 operator display is intuitive and simple to use, maximizing operator productivity. Plus, complex grading jobs are much easier.
GNSS capable
Only Trimble 3D Grade Control Systems are ready for the next-generation of satellite signals, which means you won’t have to invest in
new systems to take advantage of the expanded capabilities.
Construction tough
Only Trimble Grade Control Systems have been designed from the dirt up to withstand the beating they can take on big machines and
rough sites. More robust components mean less downtime and more productivity.
Two-way data transfer
Only Trimble 3-D grade control systems allow you to remotely manage change designs on the fly. Email design updates directly to the
machine’s display without leaving the office.

Pipe Lasers and Accessories
Spectra Precision DG711 Pipe Laser
SELF-LEVELING: The DG711 features the largest automatic leveling range in the industry providing quick, easy
setups, regardless of grade. Unlike traditional pipe lasers, they eliminate the need for rough leveling and minimize
crew training. Simply set up the laser in the pipe, manhole or open cut without the need to swivel or rough level the
unit.
LINE ALERT: This unique feature is ideal for working in high-vibration or wet conditions where the pipe lasers may
be disturbed. The beam flashes to notify you that the setup line has been disturbed, eliminating the necessity of
rework.
LINE SET: The line set/check capability of the pipe laser allows you to raise the beam outside of the trench for fast
line setup or checking. Raising the laser beam out of the trench to an above-ground stake saves you time—instead
of having to move the excavator offline during setup of the pipe laser, you can just get on with your job.
Trimble DG711 has unique capabilities ensuring laser accuracy in Arizona’s high temperature climate.
