MISSION STATEMENT
T
he Parish of Kilmovee is a Christian Community,
committed to making everyone welcome through
meeting in liturgy, prayer and friendship as we
bear witness to the love and compassion of Jesus
Christ. Fáilte roimh gach éinne.
28th Sunday in Ordinary Time – 13th October 2013
Some time was spent this week updating our
Parish Website - www.kilmoveeparish.com
The site is intended to be a resource for the
parish and includes items of interest to our parish
life, Rotas for Readers, Ministers of The
Eucharist, Altar Servers etc (not all of these have
been updated just yet but will be in the coming
days). There are also links to the daily and
Sunday Mass Scripture Readings and the Parish
Bulletin is posted on line each week.
(www.kilmovee.info - the Community Council
Website also links to the weekly bulletin) The
site has links to each of the Church areas and
includes pictures of the churches, Mass and
Sacrament Times etc. Photographs of some
parish events are also included and this will be an
on-going feature of the website.
We might also include death and funeral notices from the parish and, where possible, a photograph of those who have
died as a memory of our people and a reminder to all of the need to keep in prayer those who have died and their
families. This is something we might look towards doing for the coming year but only with the consent and approval of
families involved.
The website is a great resource to have in our Faith Community and hopefully it will continue to grow and develop with
us. It is only as good as the content and links supplied and every effort will be made to ensure the quality of both.
If you haven’t made much use of the website up to this point, maybe now might be a good time to start. If you have
been visiting, please continue to do so and spread the word to family and friends away from the parish. It is a Church
Presence, from the parish of Kilmovee, available twenty-four hours a day.
