17, 2014 in Keystone Meadows
Assisted Living.
She was born May 15, 1920
Taylorville,
Illinois the
daughter of John
and Sallie (Cook)
Lorton. She
attended Decatur
schools and Millikin University.
Along with her
Lucie
husband Ray, she
Bollheimer
owned/operated
Lorton Drug Store on Edward
and Grand. She taught for many
years for Decatur Public School
District #61. She was a special
education teacher and substitute having taught the hearing
impaired, vision impaired, and
students with learning disabilities. She retired in 1985 from
Brush College Elementary School
after many years of service. She
was a member of Grace United
Methodist Church, Illinois
Retired Teachers Association,
Decatur Area Retired Teachers Association, Brush College Retired Teachers, Millikin
University Alumni Association,
Hopes Unlimited, life member
of Parent Teacher Association,
charter member of the Kiwaniannes. She was also a member
the Daughters of the American
Revolution as a descendant of
Robert Lorton. She was a former
member of United Commercial
Travelers, Pathways to Independence, and United Cerebral Palsy.
She liked to read and especially
loved to travel. She married Bernard Raymond Bollheimer May
2, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri. He
preceded her in death September
3, 1984.
She leaves behind her sons
Phil Bollheimer and wife Jan of
Aviston, Illinois, Kent Bollheimer
and wife Belinda of Warrensburg,
and Pat Bollheimer of Decatur,
grandson Greg Bollheimer, and
brother Bruce Lorton and wife
Marian of Phoenix, Arizona.
She was reunited in Heaven
with her parents, husband, and
brother Jack Lorton.
The family would like to give a
special thanks to Rhonda Burns
for all of her loving care.
Private family services will be
held. Burial will be in Graceland
Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Kiwaniannes or Grace
United Methodist Church.

DECATUR — Michael “Mike”
Scott Cooper of Stevensville, MI,
died June 17, 2014, after a short
battle with stage four kidney
cancer. He was born April 4, 1963
in Warsaw, IN. He is survived
by his parents

of Warsaw, IN
and Ivaetta
McCammon of
Bloomington,
IN along with
his stepparents
Mike Cooper Judy Cooper
and Harry
McCammon. Mike had one
daughter, Megan Cooper, and
one granddaughter, Jordyn Black,
both of Decatur, IL. His siblings
include Kurt Cooper of Tell City,
IN, Chuck Criswell of Tucson,
AZ, and Kelly Wischmeier of
Excelsior, MN. His step siblings
include Carl Murray of Fort
Wayne, IN, Ryan McCammon
of Ann Arbor, MI, and Rachelle
Patrick of Columbia City, IN. He
was also survived by his longtime girlfriend, Cindy Cross of
Forsyth, IL.
Mike attended Plymouth
High School and graduated from
Whitko High School in South
Whitley, IN in 1981 where he
excelled in both baseball and
football. Mike graduated in 1986
with a BS degree from Ball State
University in Muncie, IN. He
was an active member of the
Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
He later became successful in
sales and marketing. He was a
popular motivational speaker for
high school and college students.
Mike was a devoted fan of the
Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Bears,
Notre Dame football, and Indiana
University basketball. Mike was
an avid runner which included
multiple completions of the
Indianapolis Mini Marathon and
the Chicago Marathon. Later in
life he discovered he had quite a
green thumb.
A benefit will be held in Mike’s
honor at his favorite local hangout, Coach’s Bar and Grill, 2528
West Glenlord Road, Stevensville,
MI on Sunday, June 22, 1-4 p.m.
Coach’s is offering 100% of the
tips and 30% of sales in Mike’s
honor. There will also be several
silent auction items.
Mike’s family and friends
are also invited to a cookout for
Mike’s Celebration of Life at his
mother’s house at 6925 West
Ison Road, Bloomington, IN on
Sunday, June 29 starting at 1p.m.

Marie was born July 29, 1928
in Decatur, IL, the daughter of
William J. and Hope (Morgan)
Miller. She married Kenneth
J. Dunker on July 8, 1949 in
Decatur, IL, and he preceded
her in death in 1999.
Marie worked as a Dental
Assistant for Dr. Stengel and
later was co-founder of Dunker
Electric Supply with her husband. She loved to travel, especially Europe and Hawaii and
enjoyed summers in Northern
Wisconsin. Marie was also a
devoted cat lover.
She is survived by her children David (Diana) Dunker
of Oakley, IL, Marilyn (William) Campbell of Decatur,
IL; grandchildren Lori Huddleston, Jonathan (Candice)
Dunker, Matthew (Ginny)
Dunker, Amanda (Nick)
Swigert, Katherine (Mitchell)
Miller, Terri Campbell, all of
Decatur, IL; 12 great grandchildren; and special cousin Sue
Green of Fairfield, IL.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, and husband Kenneth.

AZ; 8 grandchildren and 10
great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her parents and brother:
Bruce Atkins.
Helen was a 1939 Maroa
High School graduate, graduated from Brown’s Business
College and was a secretary
for many years. She then
worked as a Postal Clerk for
the Maroa Post Office, from
where she retired.
Helen was a member of
the Maroa United Methodist
Church and enjoyed sewing,
knitting, music, playing the
organ and crossword puzzles.

Chuck was born on Feb. 06,
1940 in Chicago, IL the son of

Lyon. He married Helen Stewart
in 1968 in Decatur, IL.
Chuck was a graduate of Western Illinois University with a B.S.
in Education. He was co-owner
of Crane Potato Chip Company
for many years and then became
a sales representative for Kelly
Potato Chips. In his earlier years
Chuck was an avid golfer. In his
later years he loved to watch
old Western movies and his T.V.
favorites, including, Walker Texas
Ranger and Gunsmoke.
Surviving are his wife Helen of
Decatur; and children Lynnette
(husband, DuWayne) Milner of
Edwardsville, IL; Lori (husband,
Tim) Elliott of Clayton, MO; son,
Jerry (wife, Mary Kay) Lyon of St.
Charles, MO. Also surviving is
one stepson John (wife, Martica)
Lancaster of Decatur, IL. Also
eight grandchildren and one
great-grandchild..

went to Decatur High School
and worked during the war at
the Signal Depot making shells.
She did piece work for General
Electric, Hi Flier Kite Co., and
made musical instruments.
Lois married Everett Donald
Zientara March 28, 1942, he
preceded her in death.
Surviving are her sister;
Annie Goken, daughter-inlaw; Maria Zientara, grandchildren; Sarah and Michael
Zientara, Rod Beck, great
grandkids; Makayla, Alexis and
Skyler, two daughters; Beverly
and Linda, many nieces, nephews, other grand and great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, husband, sons;
Ronnie and Mike Zientara,
5 siblings 1 grandchild and 1
great grandchild.
Lois was a great wife,
mother and grandmother and
she will be deeply missed.
