AUSTIN, Texas – May 13, 2010 – More stores and services are opening at Mueller catering to the
entire family. The latest additions include The Children’s Place, the number one specialty retailer
dedicated exclusively to children’s clothing, shoes and accessories for ages newborn to 10 years old,
Dental Smiles, Whole Family Chiropractors and The Tax Box.
The Children’s Place
To celebrate its April 15, 2010 grand opening, The Children’s Place hosted a ribbon cutting
ceremony and gave shoppers in-store giveaways, discounts and coupons. The Children’s Place offers
Big fashion at Little prices®, and is excited to join the Mueller family of stores in such a sustainable,
central location in Austin. This store is the 77th in Texas with a new store design that makes it easier
to shop by size and category.
Dental Smiles
Dental Smiles is a full-service family and cosmetic dental practice moving to Mueller’s retail center
this summer. Dr. Divya Shetty and her team of experienced professionals offer state-of-the-art
technology, including digital X-rays. Early morning and lunchtime appointments will be available for
general dentistry, tooth-colored fillings, crowns, implants, bridges, oral sedation, tooth whitening and
hygiene services. Dr. Shetty has been practicing for 10 years after receiving her Doctor of Dental
Medicines from Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston University. Dr. Shetty volunteers her
time at the Manos de Christo Dental Clinic.
“It was an easy decision to come to Mueller,” said Dr. Shetty. “Our mission is to create lasting
relationships with our patients and we feel the Mueller concept of an urban village promotes just that.”
Whole Family Chiropractic
Owned and operated by Dr. Michelle Paris, who graduated top of her class with a Doctor of
Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West, Whole Family Chiropractors exists to
serve a diverse central Austin patient mix in attaining their individual health, wellness and fitness
goals. Located on the ground floor of the Mosaic at Mueller apartments at Aldrich Street and Mueller
Boulevard near Airport Boulevard and Mueller’s Lake Park, Whole Family Chiropractors provides a
variety of chiropractic services, as well as massage and physical therapy in a state-of-the art green
facility that includes a paperless office and digital x-ray.

The Tax Box
Also now open on the first floor of Mosaic at Mueller is The Tax Box, a family-owned retail income
tax preparation and bookkeeping firm that specializes in expedited refunds, refund anticipation
loans, audit assistance, personal and business bookkeeping, mortgages and notary public services.
Founded in 2001, The Tax Box at Mueller is The Tax Box’s first expansion outside of its home state
of South Carolina.
New Mueller Eateries
YO SO COOL recently opened at Mueller to provide self-serve frozen yogurt just in time for the
summer heat. Additionally, locally owned Mr. Bone’s Barbeque is scheduled to open this summer.
These establishments and services are the latest additions to the more than 20 other businesses that
now call Mueller’s retail center home, including eateries Starbucks, Which Wich and Chipotle, and
retailers Best Buy, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Central Texas Pediatric Dentistry, EyeMasters,
Fashionique, Staples, PetSmart and The Home Depot among others.

Mueller’s retail center, centrally located at I-35 and 51st St. just three miles from downtown Austin,
is the first established retail center in Mueller and acts as the economic engine helping to fund
community infrastructure with the sales taxes it generates. Future retail will include a mix of
