Swimming Success 2011
Our swimmers were fantastic at the recent Ormskirk and District Primary Schools’ Swimming Gala.
Rachel Gillard finished 1st in the girls’ backstroke final.
Lucy Kent finished 1st in the girls’ breast stroke final.
Ethan Scrutton finished 1st in the boys’ backstroke final.
Morag Molyneux finished 2nd in the girls’ freestyle final
Teddy Tomlinson finished 6th in the boys’ breast stroke final
Jacob Dures finished 6th in the boys’ freestyle final
The team of Rachel, Lucy, Ethan and Teddy
finished 1st in the mixed freestyle relay final.
A wonderful achievement.
The children were so committed and they
swam superbly on the night.
Well done indeed!
Easter Gifts
Your child should have brought home
an Easter egg, kindly donated by the
PTFA and a small Easter
Booklet donated by school.
Hopefully, these gifts will
help the children to know
more about Easter and
come to understand the
importance of this very special time,
in the
Netball Tournament
The children entered the High 5s
Tournament this week and came
a creditable 3rd. Well done to
everyone who took part and to
Mrs Crane and the mums and
dads who went along to support.
Creative Egg Competition
There were many wonderfully imaginative
entries in the EGG COMPETITION. CSOs Dawn
