November Prayer
Little poppy
Given to me,
Help me Keep Canada
Safe and Free.
I’ll wear a little poppy,
As red as red can be,
To show that I remember
Those who fought for me.
Principal’s Message
The month of November is a month of remembrance; we remember in our prayers all the Saints,
all the souls of our faithful departed and we remember in a special way those unknown
courageous souls who lost their lives in the great battles for our freedom so that we may live in
peaceful times. We remember, we pray and we thank God for the freedom that we enjoy today.
The month of November is one in which we celebrate the virtue of Conscience. A person of
conscience chooses to do the right thing, even when it is hard and takes time to think and pray
before making decisions. Our Remembrance Day Celebration will be on November 11th at 10:50
a.m. in the gym, please join us. Our virtue assembly will be on Wednesday, November 25th @
9:30 a.m., Please join us.
School Council Fundraiser
Virtues
During the month of November we will focus on the
virtue of Conscience….
A person of conscience:
- chooses to do the right thing, even when
it is hard to do so
-takes the time to think and pray before
making decisions
-knows that their actions and decisions
affect all those around them
-thinks of others before themselves
Our School Council finished the “World’s
Finest” Chocolate Fundraiser. Thank you for all
of your support. Stay tuned next month as we
let you know the amount of money you raised for
the school!!

Kiss and Ride/Parking/Safety
Thank you to the many parents who
continue to follow the safety guidelines
for the drop off and pick up of children. These
guidelines are in place to keep all children safe.
The following reviews the school protocol:
TRAFFIC SAFETY
The KISS and RIDE LANE is designed to be a
quick and convenient method to drop off children at
school, without the need to park or leave your
vehicle.
If you wish to walk your child to school, please park
in a designated spot or on the road.
Please be advised, that the City of Brampton,
Parking Enforcement will be present to heighten
safety awareness during peak drop off and pick up
times.
Unfortunately, a few adults have become upset with
staff members who have reminded them that these
rules must be followed by all for the safety of all.
Please remember that staff members are doing
their job, and that your child is witness to your
reactions in these situations. Our continued thanks
to all parents/guardians/caregivers who continue to
adhere to procedures that should be followed by
everyone.
