ANN NORLING has given us permission to reprint a portion of her Pattern #35 using our new Merino
Frappe Stripes. For more gauges & sizes, look for Ann Norling Pattern #35 at your local yarn store.
Materials:
8 - 50 gr. balls Merino Stripes
(Throw in photo uses color #030
"watermelon")
26" Crystal Palace Circular Bamboo Needles
or 29" DAISY Circular Needles
Size 9 or 10 (check gauge to decide your needle size.)
Finished Measurements:
36-38" wide & 46-48" long
Gauge: 4 sts = 1" in Feather & Fan pattern
Be sure to do a gauge swatch both to check your gauge and to learn this easy lace pattern before
beginning the actual throw.
Abbreviations:
CO = cast on, K=knit, P=purl, YF=Yarn Forward, sts=stitches, K2tog = Knit 2 sts together
Directions:
CO 146 sts & K 12 rows.
Begin Pattern:
Row 1 (right side): K
Row 2 (wrong side): K10, P across to last 10 sts, K10
Row 3 (right side): K10, *(K2tog) 3 times, (YF, K1) 6 times, (K2tog) 3 times.*
Rep from * to * to last 10 sts, K10.
Rows 4-6: K
Rep Rows 1-6 until desired length & end with K 12 rows & BO.
