Mother Care Handcrafts helps more than 100 disadvantaged
artisans earn a fair wage by using their skills in the centuriesold traditions of carving, jewelry making, and basket making.
Among the artisans are several women who have been
rescued from prostitution thanks to the jobs Mother Care can
offer. Sales provide guild artisans a way to feed and clothe
their families, as well as affording them a chance to hear the
offer of eternal life. One basket maker, now 89, embraced
Jesus at age 80.

GLAD TIDINGS
For centuries, men and women in the
Middle East have stitched their stories into

CHILDVOICE INTERNATIONAL
In the war-torn country of Uganda, the traumatizing
impact of years of war on children—particularly
girls—demands a targeted and comprehensive
approach to facilitate successful psychosocial
healing and community reconciliation. Increasingly,
girls are being exploited at earlier ages and for
more brutal uses, such as sexual slavery, chattel for
trafficking, and as armed combatants. ChildVoice
International has an emphasis on sanctuary,
psychosocial and spiritual counseling, education,
skill building, reintegration support, and access
to basic health care, they provide girls with the
opportunity to develop assets to protect themselves
against the vulnerabilities that for so long defined
them, as well as achieve restoration and wholeness.
ChildVoice’s programs are designed to help prepare
these children, their families, and their communities

As a minority group in India, Muslim
herdsmen continually face discrimination,
making it difficult for them to find jobs and
access government benefits. Although they
grow wheat and corn and raise cows or water
buffalo, they only earn $1 per day. Many were
