GENERAL REGULATIONS
VAS LTD STATE COMPETITION GENERAL REGULATIONS
1.
An exhibitor may represent only one Society at Group level and one
Group at State level.
2.
An exhibit may only win one Group Final in a show season, should
the same article be entered again and found to have already won a
Group Final in the same show season the exhibitor must return the
prize money and will be disqualified from exhibiting for 12 months.
3.
The Melbourne Group 14 winner of the current Show will compete as
a finalist in the following State Final at the 2011 Royal Melbourne
Show.
4.
An item having won a State Final is no longer eligible to compete in
the competition.
5.
Each item entered must be the bona fide work of the exhibitor.
6.
If for any reason a winner is unable to compete at Group or State
Final level then the second place getter is eligible to compete.
7.
A person will not be permitted to win at more than one Show within
the State in any one Show year. Persons not adhering to this rule
will be required to forfeit/refund prize money.
8.
All work is to have been completed within the last twelve (12)
months.
SECTION HC - HERITAGE SECTION
Entry Fee. $2.00 Ribbons & Cards for 1st, 2nd.3rd.
Rosette for Best Exhibit.
All care & no responsibility will be taken with Exhibits.
ITEMS TO BE MADE NEW from old patterns NO OLD ITEMS ACCEPTED
E.G: Box made from Greeting Cards, Toaster and Egg Covers, Aprons (old
style),Hot water Bottle Covers, Rag Dolls, Baskets, any other old style Items /
patterns made from New or Recycled Material can be used and entered in

be placed on the right hand side & secured with a gold safety pin
Note: A garment is something to wear. E.g. Jumper. Same as VAS
Class 28 Regulations (KCS Section)
REGULATIONS:
Each article must be made from pure wool/wool blend of any ply, and
must have attached label from wool used or label or receipt from
Woollen Mill. (General Regulations for VAS Ltd State Competitions also
apply)
