Happy New Year… Summer Autumn 2009
Happy New Year…
We are excited about the new year, lots of
new ideas, yarns, patterns and projects.
Our new patchwork fabric shelves are in
place and we are very pleased with them.
The fabrics look terrific, colourful and
bright, and very easy to find exactly what
you are looking for. Our central table is
now free and it is calling out for people to
sit around it and work on their projects,
we have lots of activities planned for the
new year to do it justice.
We have a great program of classes and
workshops. There are three Block of the
Month groups, one in each of patchwork,
embroidery and knitting. Groups for
crafty kids have been popular and we are
continuing them with workshops after
school and in the school holidays.
We are also very pleased to welcome
Marg Low, a well known pattern designer
from Albury who will be running regular
workshops with us. Marg has a great
following and many will be pleased to hear
that she is back running workshops in
Wangaratta. She will be introducing some
punch needle work to us, so if you are
interested in trying it, get in touch. We now
have Marg’s patterns with lots of samples
in the store.
