Einat Agassi and Tamar Harel-Klein are the
jewelers behind the “Agas and Tamar” studio
for jewelry and design in Neve Tzedek.
The two designers make use of gold and silver
to design a clean, unpretentious line of jewelry
which strongly conveys a connection with the
raw materials’ origins. Each piece of jewelry
undergoes a painstaking creation process in
which every minute detail is scrutinized - from
the design stage, to the choice of materials up
to the final crafting.
According to the two designers, “the entire
design process is accompanied by a search
for new, innovative and intriguing ways to
combine raw materials and an attempt to
express the beautiful simplicity found in the
day-to-day experiences, tasks and objects
around us.” Einat and Tamar believe that their
unique design methods are the source of their
collections’ distinctiveness.
Agas and Tamar’s jewelry are each handmade
from silver and 24 Karat gold. Their collection
includes pieces which blend precious stones
with coins and antique gems and ancient
Hebraic engravings. A wide variety of special
techniques is employed to uniquely shape
and form the pieces. The range of jewelry in
the studio creates an exclusive style which
is representative of the creative nature of the
Agas and Tamar collection.
The collection includes jewelry for both men
and women including wedding rings, earrings,
bracelets, necklaces and cuff links.
