A high five for Handmade
Wallpaper* Handmade with Leclettico
Wallpaper* Handmade returns to the Leclettico gallery for
its fifth, freshly minted celebration of craft, creativity and
collaboration at Salone del Mobile. The success of last year’s
spectacular Handmade presentation at Leclettico has turned
San Gregorio Docet into Milan’s newest go-to design district
and this year’s bar-raising, must-see event has been produced
in collaboration with the gallery’s founder Claudio Loria.
Once again an international cast of star designers, craftsmen
and makers has been assembled to produce one-off wonders,
so prepare to be amazed, beguiled and charmed as:
Vincenzo De Cotiis turns the table on a wondrous set
of Jaguar wheels
Sony celebrates creativity with sub-atomically sharp screens
The Ace Hotel’s Lovage serves up life-enhancing elixirs
Bally lets loose with hell-for-leather skis
Todd Bracher pops a corking jacket
We unveil the world’s best-designed (and tastiest)
new neighbourhood
And Michael Anastassiades creates beautifully
dressed windows with Brioni for Handmade’s first
off-site installation.
In partnership with

About Leclettico
Milan–based collector, designer, researcher and creative
Claudio Loria is the brains behind Leclettico. Part ideas
laboratory, part archive, Loria works tirelessly to recover
furniture, spaces and settings from the 1900s and bring
them back to life. His unyielding ethical philosophy and
bold approach to design was brought to light in 2013 when
Wallpaper* relocated Handmade to his beautiful gallery.
The response to the exhibition’s new home was overwhelming
and so for its fifth edition of Handmade, Wallpaper* is using
Loria’s majestic vision to co-curate the show.
