This easy-to-make, cold processed Blemish Balm (BB) facial cream is formulated and stabilized with Novemer™* EC-2 Polymer. It also provides a light but cushiony break to this 5-in-1 facial
cream which moisturizes, covers blemishes, brightens, helps prevent early signs of aging, and offers sun protection. Glucam™* E-20 & P-20 Humectants enhance skin hydration. This tinted
moisturizer works like a foundation, but is not as thick as regular foundation to produce a natural look without clogging pores. It contains Schercemol™* DIA, NGDO & CATC Esters to
disperse and provide uniform coverage of Titanium Dioxide and Mica on the skin. It also contains ingredients to maintain younger looking, blemish-free skin. The combination of Novemer™*
EC-2 Polymer, Schercemol™* Esters and sunscreen actives provides a water resistant SPF profile without heavy afterfeel.

Procedure:
1.
PART A: Disperse Novemer™* EC-2 Polymer in Deionized Water with moderate
mixing.
2.
Add Glucam™* E-20 Humectant into the dispersion.
3.
PART B: In separate vessel, combine PART B ingredients with mixing.
4.
PART C: In a separate vessel, mix PART C ingredients and pass through a sieve (100
mesh) twice.
5.
Add pre-sieved PART C to PART B with mixing. Mix until uniform pigment dispersion is
achieved.
6.
Slowly add PARTS B/C using continuous mixing to PART A. Mix until uniform. (For
large batches, a side scraper must be installed).
7.
PART D: In a separate vessel, dissolve Niacinamide in Deionized Water.
8.
Slowly add PART D to main batch with mixing. Mix until homogeneous.
9.
PART E: Add PART E ingredients to batch one at time with mixing.
10. Mix for 10-15 minutes or until the batch is homogeneous.
Notes: A regular mixer is used to make a small batch of this formula, Stirrer DLH VELP Scientific.
When making a large batch, it is ideal to use a Roller Mill. A more uniform color and texture will
be formed if the whole batch is put through a roller mill 2-3 times.
