Welcome to Sedona
2012 Sedona
The 2012 Kia Sedona shines as a world-class minivan
perfectly suited to today’s active families. For starters,
it’s safe — the highest safety-rated minivan ever built,
as a matter of fact. But safe doesn’t mean stodgy. The
standard 3.5L V6 engine delivers ample power for a
confident driving experience. Inside, the cabin is loaded
with advanced features that turn even ordinary errands
into enjoyable experiences. It’s no wonder Sedona is a
hit with the critics. And since it’s backed by one of the
industry’s leading warranties, you know years of worryfree ownership are along for the ride.
FULL SUITE OF STANDARD SAFETY FEATURES
Sedona has you covered with 6 standard air bags, front active
headrests, and active safety features such as electronic stability
control, traction control, brake assist and ABS. All these features come
standard on every Sedona model to give you maximum peace of mind.
Great Power in the Minivan Segment
Thanks to its 3.5-liter 24-valve DOHC Dual CVVT V6 engine and
6-speed automatic transmission, Sedona offers more responsive
driving without sacrificing fuel efficiency. Sedona owners will be
pleased to find that not only does the engine feature up to 271
horsepower and 248 lb.-ft. of torque, it still achieves up to 25 miles
per gallon on the highway.1
A CRITIC'S DARLING
Sedona was declared a 2010 Consumers Digest “Best Buy” for its
third consecutive honor, and was named one of edmunds.com’s
“Top Recommended” Vehicles for 2010. Edmunds.com also named
it a “Top 10 Best Dark-Horse Car” for 2010.
Refined Interior with Advanced Features
Sedona comes standard with SiriusXM™ Satellite Radio2 (including
a complimentary 3-month trial subscription) and USB and auxiliary
input jacks for convenient music expansion. All models come
with standard Bluetooth® wireless technology3 (not available with
Premium Entertainment Package or Navigation Package) and Backup Warning System4, while EX features an auto-dimming rearview
mirror with Rear-Camera Display5 and HomeLink® 6. LX and EX can
also be equipped with an available rear-seat DVD entertainment
system. And EX can be equipped with an available premium
Infinity®7 audio system and power adjustable pedals.
1
Sedona 2012 EPA fuel economy estimates are 18 mpg/city and 25 mpg/hwy. Actual mileage may vary. 2Sirius services require subscriptions, sold
separately after 3-month trial included with vehicle purchase/lease. Subscriptions governed by SiriusXM Customer Agreement at siriusxm.com. If you
decide to continue your Sirius service at the end of your complimentary trial, the plan you choose will automatically renew and bill at then-current
rates until you call Sirius at 888-539-7474 to cancel. Sirius U.S. Satellite service available only to those at least 18 years of age in the 48 contiguous

SWEAT THE DETAILS
To ensure customer satisfaction, make sure to familiarize yourself with the operation and functions of these popular
Sedona features, and perform a thorough customer demonstration during every Delivery Walkaround. By taking the
time to fully explain potentially difficult to understand (DTU) or hard to operate (HTO) features for your customers,
you’ll preemptively mitigate potential “comebacks” and set yourself up for more repeat business. For detailed
operational information, please view the Sedona Features & Functions Guide or Sedona Owner’s Manual.
Pay special attention to the following features when conducting a vehicle demonstration.

say the name EXACTLY how it is entered in the system
•Select a phone / delete a phone / set priority
•Explain the following:
- Do not attempt to pair a phone while the vehicle is moving
- Delete the call history to speed up phonebook downloads; you can make
calls while the phonebook downloads by placing the call on the handset
- The voice recognition system can only recognize single digits from zero
through nine
- Outside conditions such as driving on rough roads, at high speeds or with the windows open, can affect the sound
quality
- Only 5 phones can be paired to the system
