Concept
May 2014 will see the UK introduction of Vespa
Sprint 125 ABS, which represents a more sporty
variant of the new Vespa small body.
With its dynamic wheels, seat and rectangular
headlamp, Sprint recalls the “Sporty” Vespa
models and is available only in ABS
specification.
Following the rationalisation of the Vespa 125
range (phase-out of LXV & Touring models)
Vespa Sprint ABS perfectly fills a gap by offering
a dynamic and sporty model to the 2014 Vespa
range.

Exact pricing is TBC, but Sprint 125 ABS sits
between the Primavera 125 and GTS 125 Super.

Product Overview
Safety
Vespa Sprint introduces an important new safety feature on the
small body: for the first time in its history, the small body Vespa
adopts the ABS braking system (as standard in UK).
The mono channel ABS system works on the front wheel, in direct
communication with the electronic unit.
The sensor identifies wheel speeds and ABS braking system
intervenes to avoid wheel locking whilst under braking.
The ABS braking system, with the ESS suspension and the new
chassis rigidity make Vespa Sprint the most modern and safe
Vespa to date.

Design
Vespa Sprint plays the new small body in a new dynamic and elegant way.
Piaggio Design Centre has made several features for a unique and highly distinctive style.
In the front stands, the rectangular headlamp and a little spoiler protect the instrument panel.
