Welcome.
Thanks very much for purchasing Field Monitor Pro® — we hope that
it quickly becomes one of your favorite mobile devices.
Field Monitor Pro is a professional portable
monitor designed for two modes of connectivity:
1. For laptops and desktops through USB
(PC and Mac).
2. For HDMI devices such as iPad®, iPhone®,
iPod® touch, other similar HDMI handheld
devices, computers with HDMI output, and
even standard DVD players.
The following pages show how to configure USB and HDMI connectivity. Please note that
USB and HDMI connectivity cannot be used simultaneously; however, if both USB and
HDMI are connected at the same time, Field Monitor Pro will default to USB mode.
Apple, iPad, iPhone and iPod are trademarks of Apple Computer, Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

Using Field Monitor Pro
Using Field Monitor Pro in “Share” Mode
You can rotate the screen clockwise OR counter-clockwise but DO NOT ROTATE PAST 180 DEGREES in
either direction as this will break the pivot hinge. Thus, when returning the screen to its start
position, always rotate it back from the direction it came.
Example:
Clockwise to open.
STOP HERE
Counter-clockwise
to close.
IMPORTANT: Screen does NOT rotate 360 degrees —Do not force screen past its natural “STOP”
position since this will break the hinge.
Using Field Monitor Pro in “Stand” Mode
From “share mode”, simply angle the screen back onto the base. Then, release stand from base by
pulling stand out. Position stand at desired viewing angle in either landscape or portrait views.
