-yearly cervical smears from age 20-69 years. Even
women who have never had sex with men need to have
regular smears . The PHV (wart) virus can cause cervical
abnormalities and can be passed on during sex between
women.
You can have a smear at your doctor, Sexual Health
Centre, Ffamily Planning Centre or at 298 Youth Health
Centre
Drug Use
If you are injecting drugs don’t share works.. You run the
risk of catching or passing on Hepatitis B or C, or HIV.
