technology
recovery
Gosnold is partnering with the University of Wisconsin in a
national research study to determine how mobile technology
can enhance treatment and support recovery. This study will
create and test a relapse-prevention application for mobile
phones, offering on-the-go support for those in need.
Recovery – there’s an app for that!
This year, Gosnold improved and streamlined the use of
electronic medical records, bringing our technological
advancement to a new level. Electronic medical records
improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our staff,
open lines of communication and allow us to better
serve our patients.
Use your smart phone to scan our
new QR code to visit our website, or
find us online at www.gosnold.org,
Facebook, and Twitter.
advancing
healthcare
In 2011, Gosnold received national recognition for the GosnoldFalmouth Hospital Collaboration Project. The program includes
co-management of withdrawal for hospitalized patients and brings
counseling interventions onto the med-surg floor and into the
emergency room. This collaboration was featured in the national
publication Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Weekly in June 2011.
Gosnold’s Internship Program provides students
from Boston University, Lesley University, UMass,
Boston College, and other schools with the
opportunity to work closely with our staff to
gain valuable experience.
Gosnold is recognized nationally for innovative
projects, programs and collaborations. Last year,
Gosnold staff presented at local and national
conferences including:
• Innovations in Addiction Conference, Boston, MA
• Network for the Improvement of Addiction Treatment Summit, Boston, MA
• National Conference on Addiction Disorders, San Diego, CA

The Gosnold Legacy Society
Bequests to Gosnold ensure that our work to help individuals and families who suffer with
addiction will continue for generations. Supporters who advise us of their estate intentions
are honored with membership in the Gosnold Legacy Society. The greatest benefit is the
satisfaction of knowing that your long-range financial plans are an investment in changing lives
and restoring families, just as Gosnold has done for the past forty years.

Inpatient Admissions
Outpatient Counseling Sessions
This past year, Gosnold received over 40,000 phone calls
and nearly 60,000 first time visits to our website. We
offered more inpatient and outpatient care and more
counseling sessions than ever before, thanks in part
to our Patient Assistance Fund and our Reaching Out
Family Fund. As the need for treatment grows, so does
our outreach. Gosnold is helping more people find
recovery every day.
