week included Holiday Mash-Up Day (Monday), Celebrity Impersonation Day (Tuesday),
Redneck Day (Wednesday), Throwback Thursday (Thursday), and of course Tiger/Raider Spirit
Day (Friday). Beginning on Monday evening, Coronation of the 2013 Homecoming King and
Queen as well as the burning of the W were held. Candidates included, Samanatha Keifer,
Baylie Lane, Keana Jackson, and Sierra Hokanson for Queen, and Casey Martinek, Dexter Lick,

school students participated in a sidewalk chalk contest. The Sophomores received 1st place for
their creativity involving both the Raider and Tiger teams. That night the Lady Raiders captured a
win from their rivals the FCT Rebels. Wednesday the volleyball players took on the football
players in a volleyball game held that afternoon. The Lady Raiders again came out victorious.
Following that, the Senior Class put their skills together in an attempt to take out some of the
RHS Staff, but were left unsuccessful. Thursday the Elementary Students participated in their
own Sidewalk Chalk Challenge and some float planning/building began. Friday began in a
whirlwind as the high school students rushed to finish their class floats before the parade time. A
pep rally was held in the gym before the parade where the cheerleaders held a contest between
class, and senior athletes. The Homecoming Parade was held at 2 p.m. which drew many
people to main street. That night the Tri-State Tigers took on the Waubay-Summit Panthers,
capturing a victory by halftime with an ending score of 58-0.
