All Shelterhouse Services are provided free of charge. An Important and Growing Need · Served 13,700 people from Midland & Gladwin Counties in 2012 – up 4% from 2011 · Answered 1,944 crisis calls in 2012 - up 25.8% from 2011 · Provided 4,546 nights of safety - up 12% from 2011 Funding Challenges · Federal dollars now represent only 33% of Shelterhouse's annual revenue, compared to 45% in 2007 · Additional reductions are expected Resale Shop Mission: Provide gently used items at affordable prices to the residents of Midland and Gladwin Counties.
