How to Invest in the db x-trackers Investment Plan
Step 1: Find the new business application form
If you have access to the internet


Go to the db x-trackers website – www.dbxtrackers.co.za
Click on the “How to invest” tab and then the “db x-trackers Investment Plan” drop down

Click on “Application Forms” and then the link “Form 1 - New Business Application”.

Print the application form.
OR
o
For online applications click on “Online Application” and follow the instructions
If you do not have access to the internet


Call the db x-trackers contact centre on 0861 111 288
Ask the Administration Agent to fax, email or post to you the “New Business Application
Form”.
Step 2: Complete and submit the new business application form and FICA documents

Complete sections 1, 2, 3 and 4
Section 7 need only be completed if you are purchasing through a Financial Service Provider
(Broker)
Section 5 is the investor’s declaration, please read the Terms and Conditions appended to
the application before you sign and date this section.

Supporting documentation



Read the FICA documentation checklist attached to the application form.
Collate the documents relevant to your situation i.e. Individual, Trust, Company etc
Please take particular note of those documents which must be certified by a commissioner
of oath.

Step 3: What communication can you expect?
To the point of establishment of your db x-trackers account




On receipt of your application form we will send you an SMS confirming that we have
received you documentation.
Should something be unclear or incomplete we will send you an SMS requesting correction.
Once your application has been authorized we will send you an SMS confirming this and
informing you of your client number.
In addition, you will receive written confirmation from us of the establishment of your
account via the postal service or email.
Ongoing Communication



On a quarterly basis we will forward you an account statement via the postal service or
email.
When any repurchases, additional investments or debit order changes are effected on your
account we will confirm these transactions via the postal service or email.
Any document which you fax to us will be acknowledged via SMS.
