How to Use This Directory
The purpose of the 2014 Wyoming State Government Directory is to aid citizens in
accessing state government. The Directory includes a brief listing of county and federal
officials in order to help maintain open lines of communication with all branches of
government.
All information compiled in the 2014 Directory was provided directly from the agency,
board or proper authority. Thank you to those individuals who provided information for
this edition. In instances where information in excess of what was applicable was
provided, that information was omitted.
The Directory is divided into five major sections: Agencies and Divisions (which
includes Boards, Commissions, and Councils); Legislative Branch; Judicial Branch;
United States Officials; and County Officials. If you are not sure which section to
reference, there is a Subject Index as well as a Surname Index at the back of the book
which may be of help.
Maps: For information regarding boards’ and commissions’ membership boundaries,
please see Pages 165-166; for judicial boundaries, please see Page 210; and for county
boundaries, please see Page 245.
All state agency phone numbers are accessible to deaf, hard of hearing, and speech
impaired callers through Wyoming Relay at 711 (for all call types).
State Information Desks
State Information Desks provide the public and state agencies with general information.
Telephone listings of Cheyenne area employees are available at each desk. Capitol
services include legislative, tourist and school tour arrangements. Information on
Wyoming Capitol Tours can be found at: https://sites.google.com/a/wyo.gov/ai/capitoltours-home-page. The Herschler Information Desk provides support in arranging
conference calls and operator assistance. The Herschler, Hathaway, and Barrett Building

Registering to Vote
Qualifications to Register to Vote
 Citizen of the United States
 Resident of the State of Wyoming
 18 years of age on the day of the next Election
 Has not been convicted of a felony
 Is not currently adjudicated mentally incompetent
Keep Your Registration Current
 You are registered for 2014 if you voted in the 2012 General Election.
(Wyoming maintains a registry of voters. You need only register once while
living in Wyoming, provided you vote in each general election and do not
move.)
 If you move to a different precinct, a different county, change your name or
party affiliation, you must complete Wyoming’s Voter Registration form and
return the form to the County Clerk.
 If you have questions about your registration or where you vote, contact your
County Clerk.
Absentee Voting
Anyone may vote absentee without providing an excuse. Call or write your County
Clerk for details. Contact information for the County Clerks can be accessed on the
Secretary of State’s website at http://soswy.state.wy.us/Elections/Voting.aspx.
Remember to return your absentee ballot immediately to ensure it will be delivered to
the County Clerk's Office not later than 7 p.m. on Election Day.
Voting Assistance
If you require assistance to vote by reason of disability or inability to read or write, you
may be given assistance by a person of your choice. Also, if you have questions
regarding the accessibility of your polling place, please contact your County Clerk.
You may bring a sample ballot or your written or printed notes into the voting booth to
assist in marking your ballot.
