Fulton Leadership Academy is committed to a rigorous academic environment that empowers young men in grades 6-12 to become productive civic
leaders. Within the offered curriculum, there is a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), and a thematic approach
that integrates experiences with aviation and aeronautics.
Fulton Leadership Academy is a premier Charter School that empowers young men to be confident, civic minded leaders
who excel in academics. Fulton Leadership Academy (FLA) is Georgia’s first state approved Public (tuition free) Charter
School for Boys. FLA opened its doors in August of 2010. Since its inception, FLA has exceeded all performance
objectives for the Criterion Reference Competency Tests, making it one of the best Middle Schools in South Fulton.
The Academy currently enrolls 245 young men in the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grades.
Of course, there are many challenges along the way. For example, as a state public charter, FLA does not receive the same
level of governmental funding as regular schools. As a result, we must rely upon additional funding support through
foundations, corporations, and people like you to help underwrite educational programs, technology, and high quality
teacher and staff development.
Fulton Leadership Academy will hold its Fourth Annual Walk for Excellence: Promoting the Academic Achievement of
Boys and Young Men on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 9:00am to 1:00 pm. The Walk will promote and support FLA as
it becomes a universal model for preparing young men to be productive citizens who can compete in the 21st century.
How to become a Corporate Sponsor for The Fourth Annual Walk for Excellence
This year we are reaching out to broader communities. We need your help! This year’s Walk will have four levels of
corporate sponsorship:
 Title Sponsor-$2,000 and above. Your Company name will appear as the Title Sponsor on all FLA Walk for
Excellence promotional materials and speak to Supporters during the day of event Celebration Program. 10
complementary Walk registrations and/or T-shirts. Additionally, we will list your company name/logo on our
website, The Walk T-Shirts, our Sponsor’s Wall in our new facility, and provide a complimentary table at site for
distribution of your materials.
 Gold level— $1,500 - &1,999. FLA will list your company name/logo its website, on The Walk T-Shirts and our
Sponsor’s Wall in our new facility. 8 complimentary Walk registrations and/or T-shirts and provide a
complimentary table at site for distribution of your materials.
 Silver Level—$750-- $1,499. FLA will list your company name/logo on our website, on The Walk T-Shirts, and
the Sponsor’s Wall in our new facility. 5 complimentary Walk registrations and/or T-shirts.
 Bronze Level - $500- $749. FLA will list your company name/logo on its website as a sponsor, and The Walk TShirt. 3 complimentary Walk registrations and or T-shirts.
You can make donations to FLA via our website at http://www.fultonleadershipacademy.net and clicking on “Donation”
or filling out the Sponsor Information Form and mail to FLA along with your check or money order. FLA is a 501(c)(3)
organization and all donations are tax-deductible. In-kind donations are greatly appreciated as well. The deadline for
