How to Activate a Windows 8 Licensed copy (MAK) January 2013 From Administrative Command Prompt (right click the lower left hand window) C:\Windows\system32>SLMGR.VBS -IPK (Product Key here) C:\Windows\system32>SLMGR.VBS -ATO (ENTER) (ENTER) You will now get a (Window) message from the Windows Script Host stating that the product is activated. You can now close the Command Prompt.
