ANTI-CONDENSATION HEAT-INSULATING PAINT
Concrete: Wait until completely set (min. 30 days)
Elimination of formwork release agents.
Mortars: Elimination of efflorescence and alkalinity by treating with SALSTOP.
Regulate any high porosity by applying diluted ISACRYLIC.
Fibrocement:
Eliminate the high alkalinity and apply ISACRYLIC.
Plasters: Porous: Apply one coat of ISACRYLIC to close the pore and prevent
excessively high absorption in the later application of paint.
Fragile: Apply one coat of ISALFIX to get a resin mesh, allowing transpiration,
reducing absorption and facilitating later application of paint.
n USES
- Regardless of what the support to be repainted is, its appearance must be evened
out, i.e. roughing off any parts which look shiny, so as to facilitate pore opening
and thus adherence.
- Check the adherence and resistance of the paint.
- Correct any possible differences in texture or planimetry which might exist with
our PLASVAL filler range.
Specially recommendable for decoration, on indoor and outdoor surfaces in places
with a lot of condensation such as kitchens and bathrooms and large spaces. In
general, wherever any sound and heat insulation is required, in turn preventing
condensation on painted surfaces.

n HOW TO APPLY
ALREADY PAINTED SURFACES:
- Stir up the product until it is thoroughly mixed.
- The surfaces to be painted must be clean, free of dust, grease, saltpetre etc.. If it
was previously painted make sure that the previous paint is in good condition and
properly adhered. If this is not the case, the support should be cleaned properly and
prepared with a coat of ISACRYLIC fixer.
- Can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun.
- The first coat should be diluted with approximately 15-20% water and for the
second the product should be applied diluted 5-10%, always with clean drinking
water.
- Any utensils and stains should be cleaned off with water.
- It is not advisable to paint in rainy weather or at times of greatest heat.
- Tinting: TINTE ACQUA or TINTE UNIVERSAL ISAVAL (at most 5%).
Flaky: If the paint is old or badly adhered, with flaws such as chalking, blistering,
flaking, cracking... it must be completely removed prior to painting, then
applying a coat of ISACRYLIC and later on finishing off with two coats of ANTICONDENSATION HEAT-INSULATING PAINT.
If the support is in bad condition, for example pitted, one
coat of ISAL-FIX
should be applied to then finish with two coats of ANTI-CONDENSATION HEATINSULATING PAINT.
With pathologies: Mould and algae: (Dark patches). Elimination and disinfection of
mould or algae by rubbing the patch vigorously with a brush using household bleach
or 10 volume oxygenated water. Then apply FUNGICIDE-ALGICIDE ADDITIVE and
finish off with two coats of ANTI-CONDENSATION HEAT-INSULATING PAINT.
Saltpetre: Rub vigorously with a brush and later apply chemical treatment with
SALSTOP, and proceed to paint as normal.
Metal salts: These salts come from roofing frames and have a red or yellow colour:
they should be covered with two coats of TIXOVAL ANTIFUMES and then proceed
to normal painting.
Damp: Secure any building materials that are coming off through damp with ISALFIX, creating a mesh for proper seating in later application of two coats of ANTICONDENSATION HEAT-INSULATING PAINT
n APPLICATION
Manually by means of a brush, roller or spray-gun. Can be sprayed on with air-less
equipment.
n ELIMINATION AND THE ENVIRONMENT
Take any measures necessary to avoid producing waste as far as possible. Look into
any possible appreciation or recycling methods. Do not pour into drains or into the
environment. Eliminate at an authorised waste collection point. Any waste should be
handled and eliminated according to current local/national legislation. Any empty
containers and packaging should be eliminated according to current legislation.
Neutralisation or destruction of the product must be done by means of controlled
incineration at special plants for chemical waste, according to local regulations.
n SAFETY
O U T D O O R
NEW UNPAINTED SUPPORTS:
- Good adherence to the most commonly-used building materials.
- High opacity
- Great whiteness
- Does not splash
- Does not yellow
- Breathes
- Stands up to harmful atmospheric effects
- Prevents the appearance of patches of fungi and algae on its surface
- Low heat conductivity
- Anti-condensation
- Sound-insulating
