Checking Time to Next Pill
To check time to next pill, please follow the
instructions provided below:
1. Push the Button to “wake up” the PillGuard.
2. The Numeric Display will show the time to next pill
as follows :
The Time to Next Pill Lights will switch
between Hours and Minutes showing
how many hours AND minutes until a pill is
available.
For this example, there are 12 hours and
5 minutes until a pill is available.
OR
When both the Hours and Minutes lights
are both lit together, it is showing how
many seconds until a pill is available.

Dispensing a Pill
“Push the button & do what the lights say”
If you mess up, don’t worry—simply let the PillGuard go
to sleep & start over.
In this example, there is 1 pill available AND the
PIN number is 3 - 6 - 1 - 2.
1. Push the Button to “wake up” the
PillGuard, turn on the Pills Available
Now Light, & show the number of pills
available for dispensing.
2. Pushing the Button again will
turn on the Enter PIN Light.
3. Enter the 1st digit of the PIN, by
tapping the “Push” Button until
the number 3 is shown.
4. After 2 seconds, the display will blink,
indicating the 1st digit of the PIN has
been locked in.

5. After a PIN digit has been locked in,
the Enter PIN Light will turn on,
& you can continue entering the PIN.
6. Enter the 2nd digit of the PIN, by
tapping the “Push” Button until
the number 6 is shown.
7. After 2 seconds, the display will blink,
indicating the 2nd digit of the PIN has
been locked in.
8. Repeat steps 5-7 for the remaining
two digits of the user PIN.
9. After entering the user PIN correctly,
position PillGuard so that the
Pill Access Ports are facing up.
PUSH & HOLD the Button when
you are ready to release the pill.
10. When the dispense is complete, the
Remove Pill Light will turn on.
