3 Easy Ways to Control the OSD
The CAM220 is really easy to set up, thanks to a
choice of 3 ways to control the camera’s menu.
1- If you’re up a ladder to install the dome,
you can quickly use the on-board joystick to
access the menu and make changes on your test
monitor screen.
2- A handy remote keypad is available
(REM088) that can be connected anywhere
along an RG59 co-ax for simple “up the co-ax”.
3- Using a simple 2-wire RS485 connection
you can even set up or alter the settings of the
camera remotely via a DVR.
Great functionality with these additional
features
Other standard functions include Privacy
Masking on 8 areas for Data Protection
Compliance, Motion Detection on up to 4 areas
and a Mirror Function useful when the camera is
used as a reversing aid.

By using a motorised IR filter, the CAM220
gives you great results in the day blocking
out IR light, but can be set up to see IR light
a night for outstanding low light operating
results.
Built-in Balun
In addition to using a standard RG59 coax, the CAM220 also has a built in balun
to allow easy cabling using standard CAT5
cable.
Smart D-Zoom
As well as a 32x digital zoom function,
the camera boasts a smart d-zoom feature
that can be set up on motion detection to
zoom in another 2-5 times which is great for
viewing car number plates or people stood
at a till.

Zoom Adjustment
The 2.8 to 12mm lens allows you to capture the
exact scene you need from a wide angle view
(2.8mm) down to a focused shot of a doorway
(12mm) and anything in between.
Tilt Axis
The 3D axis of the dome allows
you the choice of a ceiling, wall or
bracket installation.
Focus Adjustment
Rotational Axis
Adjust the focus after
adjusting the zoom to
get the perfect picture.
Turn this to rotate the camera’s
output image so that it is correct
on a monitor.
Left-Right Axis
Unlock these screws to adjust
the left-right orientation of the
camera.
Video Out - Main
An internal BNC
