Our HD suite is designed for film and broadcast mastering of long form projects. As an editorial mastering suite, Final Cut HD allows us maximum resolution independence and
delivery to Digibeta, DVCPRO formats, 720p, HDCAM, and HDCAM-SR at true 4:4:4 quality. The suite is also and configured for realtime HD color grading using Final Touch HD,
with primarys, secondaries, and power windows just like expensive DaVinci systmes. Yet, its more afforable.
A HDlink powered cinema display allows editors and colorists to inspect footage for artifacts or defects in realtime, which even the largest HD CRTs will not detect. This is
especially important for film outputs and HD broadcast programs. We use the lucite models because they test significantly more accurate than the new aluminum displays.
An Artisan monitor gives film calibrated monitoring for critical color viewing. The suite also has commonly used software such as Shake, After Effects, Combustion, Photoshop,
Illustrator, DVD Studio Pro, Maya, and many other support applications.
We maintain, support and calibrate all of our systems. We know these systems intimately (and build them), so there’s no late-night tech support calls to 800 numbers. Not pictured
are standard DVCAM, VHS, DVD player/recorders, comfy couch, microphone, chairs, telephone, UPS system, vectorscopes and other accoutrements like an indoor koi pond.
