Thank you for purchasing the Mini Bluetooth Speaker that is designed to deliver excellent sound clarity and Bluetooth
connectivity in a very solid, compact package. The advanced technology that is packed into this Speaker will amaze and
delight.
This user manual will provide you with the basic operation and functions that will enable you to quickly understand how to
use your Mini Bluetooth Speaker. Please read these instructions carefully before use.
1. Key Features

2. Preparation (refer to Figure 1)
Plug the “2.0 Mini Type B Jack” end of the (charging) cable into the DC Input port marked “DC5V” and the other end of the
cable into an active USB port in order to charge the battery. The Bluetooth battery will take approximately (3-4) hours to
reach a full charge. The battery charging LED will illuminate RED during charging and will turn off when the speaker is
fully charged. The Speaker can be used while it is charging. Hint: for faster charging you can use a USB AC adapter plug
to charge the Speaker from a wall outlet.
3. Operation (Refer to Figure 1 and Figure 2)
1) To use the Function Buttons, follow these steps:
The controls for the Speaker are handled by the four buttons located on the front of the Speaker. Several of the buttons
have dual functions depending on the mode that the Speaker is in. Here is a description of those functions:
[1] Phone Button
a. Accept/Decline incoming calls
[2] Backward Track Button
a. Press one time to select the last track played
b. Press and hold to decrease the volume
[3] Mode Button
a. Bluetooth mode selected by default
b. Select external Speaker mode when auxiliary cable is connected
c. Pause/Play music track
[4] Forward Track Button
a. Press one time to select the next track
b. Press and hold to increase the volume
2) To PAIR (connect) the Speaker with your mobile device, follow these steps:
a. Turn on the speaker using the On/Off switch located on the bottom of the speaker. You should see two Blue
LEDs on the bottom of the Speaker illuminate and begin flashing. When Bluetooth is enabled you will hear a
loud double tone indicating that you can now connect using your mobile device.
b. Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device and you should see the word “KR-012” if your device has
successfully located the Speaker. When you confirm the connection you will hear a loud double tone from the
Speaker and the Blue LEDs will turn off.
c. You should see that your mobile device is “connected”. Note: For devices using Bluetooth version 2.0 or older
you will need to enter the pin code “0000” or “1234” to connect.
d. If you lose your Bluetooth connection you will see the Blue LEDs begin to flash until you re-connect.
e. If you choose not to PAIR the Speaker with your mobile device then the Blue LEDs will continue to flash.
3) To play music with the SD card inserted and Bluetooth disabled, follow these steps:
a. Insert the SD card into the slot and turn on the speaker to automatically begin playing music.
b. If you want to activate Bluetooth mode without removing the SD card then press and hold down the Mode
Button [3] and the Blue LEDS will begin flashing which indicates Bluetooth mode is enabled and you can
PAIR with your mobile device.
4) To use as an Auxiliary Speaker using the audio cable, follow these steps:
a. Plug one end of the cable into the Aux-in port on the speaker and the other end into your device.
b. Turn on the speaker using the On/Off switch located on the bottom of the speaker. You should see two Blue
LEDs on the bottom of the Speaker illuminate and begin flashing. You will also hear a loud double tone.
c. Press and hold down the Mode Button [3] until the Blue LEDs stop flashing and remain illuminated.
5) To connect and use the Speaker with a USB Soundcard, follow these steps:
a. Plug the “2.0 Mini Type B Jack” end of the (charging) cable into the DC Input port and the other end into the
USB Soundcard port.

b. Turn on the speaker using the On/Off switch located on the bottom of the speaker. You should see two Blue
LEDs on the bottom of the Speaker illuminate and begin flashing. You will also hear a loud double tone.
c. Press and hold down the Mode Button [3] until the Blue LEDs stop flashing and remain illuminated.
6) To answer an incoming call and use the hands-free feature, follow these steps:
a. When the Speaker receives an incoming call you will hear your mobile device ringtone and the Blue LEDs will
flash until you answer the call.
b. To answer an incoming call, press the Phone Button [1] one time.
c. You can decrease the volume by pressing and holding Button [2] or increase the volume by pressing and
holding Button [4].
d. To reject an incoming call, press the Phone Button [1] two times.
e. To end a call, press the Phone Button [1] one time.

A USB AC adapter plug is not included so you will need to purchase it separately or you can use the USB AC
adapter plug that came with your mobile device.
5. Caring for your Speaker





This device has a built-in rechargeable/replaceable battery that is charged by using the USB cable (provided).
Please ensure that the product is fully charged before you use it for the first time.
Please do not use a corrosive cleaner, immerse in water or place near high heat.
Please handle the device carefully in order to avoid damage to the internal circuitry.
Please do not attempt to disassemble your unit.
6. Troubleshooting



If you lose the Bluetooth connection while still within range it may be a low battery condition.
If the Speaker starts to operate intermittently then this may be a low battery condition.
If you do not hear any sound please check the volume control which may be set too low.
