Please enter UDX for Obedience Class if you desire both Utility B & Open B.
Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians’ recommendation to assure
their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable
diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. The state of Alabama
requires that all dogs be vaccinated against rabies.
Please print or type all information on the entry form.
Please show only dog’s AKC titles on the entry form.
Telegraph, telephone and unsigned entries cannot be accepted.
Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate, and legible information on the
entry forms; illegible or incomplete entries cannot be entered into the trial. All
entries must be made on official AKC Entry Forms or copies and must include
the Agreement and Rules. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be
accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance.
Entry fees shall not be refunded except that of a bitch (minus $10/day) who
comes in season after being entered, by receipt of the Trial Secretary of a
Veterinarian’s Certificate to this effect prior to the start of the show. Entry fees
shall not be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a
Veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by action of the trial committee.
If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the trial
committee, it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry
fee will be made.
SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED.
A Recording Fee of 50 cents for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of
$3.00 will be required for each recordable single entry class at any Licensed or
Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter
11, Section 2). A $3.00 AKC Recording Fee will be required for each entry in
Rally. (American Kennel Club Rally Regulation, Chapter 1, Section 3) These
Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club.
NO X-PENS ALLOWED IN BUILDING.
NO CARPETS, RUGS OR “LIVING AREA” SET-UP ALLOWED IN BUILDING.
NO UNENTERED DOGS ALLOWED IN BUILDING.
Dogs should be present at least ½ hour before they are to be judged.
Dogs will be crated or attended to at all times.
The word DOG includes both sexes.
Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Trial Secretary will add
a $30 collection fee to the amount of each returned check (this is the current
amount charged for return checks in the city of Huntsville). Subsequent returned
checks from the same exhibitor may result in their being put on a cash only
basis.
The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
All trophies should be claimed the day of the show – HOTC Trophy chair will
determine if any trophy will be mailed based on reasons for non-pickup.
Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their own dogs. Please help us
keep the trial site and hotels clean.
A free catalog will be given to each exhibitor compliments of HOTC.
The event may be cancelled in the event of extreme weather conditions.

Our training facility is 1/4 mile east of the Dan Tibbs exit on
Research Park Blvd and approximately 2 miles north of Madison
Square Mall.
Take Research Park Blvd north. Exit at Dan Tibbs Road and take
a right, heading east, take the second right at Export Circle.
HOTC is the second building on the left.
-ORTake Jordan Lane north to Dan Tibbs (first left north of Mastin
Lake Road), left onto Dan Tibbs, take the third left onto Export
Circle, and HOTC is the second building on the left.

1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular
variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in., over 13 in.
but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white),
Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby,
Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).
2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record
and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but to a period of 90
days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In
consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win
prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents,
superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to
hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event,
harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the
act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all
responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for
loss, injury or damage to this dog.
Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties
harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the
aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person
or persons, including myself (ourselves) or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation
in this event, however such injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused

3 (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided,
then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age
division, color division, weight division.
4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If a registered
dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed
after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the
dog is recorded in his/her name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to the AKC. (For complete
