It’s not easy to wait for results to emerge from
our efforts in this life. And it’s even harder,
sometimes, to wait for God to come through on a
promise made in Scripture, to answer a prayer
request we’ve been making for months or years,
or to complete his work of transforming us into
people worthy of being called Christian disciples.
Sometimes we forget that trust and patience are
essential to the outcome, and that the process,
itself, is somehow part of the outcome. With that
in mind, I share with you a brief and beautiful bit
of Jesuit spiritual guidance.

violence, terrorism and war now gripping
our world.

Consolation /Grief Ministry
Saint Robert’s Grief Ministry will meet on Saturday,
October 25th, 2014 from 3:00 -4:15 p.m. in the
Convent, 349 Oak Avenue. For those who are
grieving the loss of a loved one, it will give you a
quiet time to pray for them and remember the good
times you shared with them. You will be with
understanding people who will help you to grieve
and heal.
