1 Top Chances (6)Shotover
River (5)Zoomania (2)Borehole
(4)Tail And All
Wide tipping. Borehole ($3.20 to
$3.30) won in restricted grade last
week and some feel he can do it
again here with only 53.5kgs.
Zoomania ($3) improved second up
and could go on with it now – she
gets the gun run behind Borehole.
Shotover River ($8 to $6) has raced
well first up in the past and he is a
firmer this morning. Tail And All
($5.50) is in everyone’s top three.
2 Top Chances (8)Wicked
Investment (10)Hot Snippety
(12)Picavino (14)Dead Set Jet
No confidence with the early 2yos.
Hot Snippety ($3.30 to $3.60)
looked good at the trials and it may
be significant that the blinkers are
applied on race day. Wicked
Investment ($4.80 to $4.40) is a
significant shortener in early betting.
Mentions for expensive colt Arteta
($6), Picavino ($11), Dead Set Jet
($15) and the beautifully-bred Miss
Amigo ($34).
3 Top Chances (6)Mishani
Stealth (1)Star Sammy
(10)Headwater Country (2)Cracco
Mishani Stealth ($5 to $4.60) is the
best tip this morning on his good
first up run. Star Sammy ($6) has
been thereabouts in Open company
of late and the drop back in grade
and distance may be just what he
needs. Jet Down On It ($8.50),
Cracco ($7 to $6.50) and the well-
backed 3yo Headwater Country ($8
to $5.50) are in the mix.
4 Top Chances
(9)Ellawisdom (2)Flying Home
(1)Dubawi Gold (6)Bush Aviator
Tipsters are shying away from early
favourite Flying Home ($3.30)
thinking he may need further.
Ellawisdom ($5) is up in grade but
her recent runs have been ok and the
1350m suits. Adelaide visitor
Dubawi Gold ($9) may have too
much class for them – he likes this
trip. Darcey ($7.50) is another that
is better off at this trip. Bush
Aviator ($4.20) can win if allowed to
dictate in front.
5 Top Chances (1)Coworth
Park (2)Ongoing Venture
(7)Valerie D’Amour (3)Surface
Tension
Firm tip for the favourite Coworth
Park ($3.20) with the claim – he is
racing very consistently and should
go close. Those that could trouble
the favourite are Ongoing Venture
($7), Surface Tension ($13),
Rofranoz ($9), Valerie D’Amour
($5.50) and Rogertheredneck ($15).
6 Top Chances (4)Queen Of
The Lochs (1)Discreet (6)Tear It
Up (3)Idle Chat
Discreet ($5.50 to $7) is the class
runner and although back in
distance off a short break she has to
be respected. Queen Of The Lochs
($4 to $3.60) is very honest and is 2
from 2 first up – she is drawn to get
a nice run and is the clear top pick
this morning. Tear It Up ($4)
Nathan Exelby
-----------------
resumes and is up in grade but is
kept very safe with only 51kgs on her
back. Idle Chat ($5) and Beach
Babe ($7) are not hopeless.
7 Top Chances (2)You Did
What (5)Grayson Square
(6)Gundy Spirit (4)Just A Perla
Strong tip for the favourite You Did
What ($2.30 to $2.25) which was
very unlucky last start and will be
looking to make amends today – the
1350 looks ideal for him. Grayson
Square ($5 to $5.50) has to be hard
to beat again as he could get an easy
lead again. Gundy Spirit ($5 to $6)
and On The Deck ($10) are in
winning form as well. Just A Perla
($15) is worth including in exotics.
8 Top Chances (6)Girls
Command (4)Miss Cover Girl
(3)Hazard Bay (1)Executed
Good race. Miss Cover Girl ($4.50)
gets in very well after the claim and
she is the best tip. Hazard Bay
($6.50) has been terrific at his two
runs to date – a bad draw today but
he has admirers. Girls Command
($6.50 to $5.50) missed the start
badly last time but still impressed
against the older horses and she will
be strong at the finish. Executed
($15 to $12), True Passion ($8.50)
and Amizade ($5.50 to $6.50) are
chances.

1 Top Chances (6)Sebring
4 Top Chances (8)Black
Sun (3)Feast For Eyes (2)Brooklyn
(5)Moral Outrage
Hard race. Good money for Sebring
Sun ($3.50 to $3.30) which has
trialled in fast time but drawn wide.
Feast For Eyes ($3.80 to $4.60),
Brooklyn ($5) and Moral Outrage
($13 to $10) were impressive trial
winners and have admirers this
morning. Austrian ($9 to $9.50) is
another getting attention.
Revolver (10)Golden Aro
(11)Shout To The Top (6)Our Boy
Nicholas
Anything could win. Black Revolver
($4.40 to $4) is very consistent and
this is his right grade – he is the one
to beat. Shout To The Top ($4.40) is
flying in country races but some feel
he is more than capable of winning
in town. Golden Aro ($4.60 to
$3.80) is going just as well in
midweek city grade and is the best
backed. Our Boy Nicholas ($10 to
$11), Paederos ($10) and Ghost
Protocol ($19 to $16) are in the mix.
2 Top Chances (6)Kourkam
(2)Best Case (5)Grand Marshal
(4)Foreign Prince
The well-backed Best Case ($3.20 to
$2.50) is the early favourite and best
tip coming off a good run in a G2
race and dropping back to a
restricted race – he has to be hard to
beat. Not much between the exciting
Kourkam ($6.50 to $4.40), Grand
Marshal ($6) and Foreign Prince
($6 to $5.50) last start – they are all
winning chances.
3 Top Chances (1)Careless
(5)Super Willie (4)Hero I Am
(9)Slightly Sweet
No confidence with most of these in
form or resuming. Waller has a
strong hand with Hero I Am ($5),
Super Willie ($6.50), Wine Tales
($6) and Good Project ($6) and all
are winning chances. He seems to
prefer Super Willie and Hero I Am.
Slightly Sweet ($6) had excuses last
start and is kept safe in the betting.
Careless ($7.50 to $6.50) is sure to
be fitter for the first up run.
5 Top Chances (4)Charlie
Boy (1)Monton (5)Whittington
(10)Alpha Beat
The experts are not sure here. Ryan
says that Charlie Boy ($4) will take
a lot of improvement out of the run
last week and will run well today –
he is the best backed. Monton
($8.50) will appreciate the drop in
grade today. Whittington ($4.60)
trying to get 1400m and Alpha Beat
($8.50) are among the chances.
Waller feels Riva De Lago ($4.60)
has to improve but he is not
hopeless.
6 Top Chances (8)First Seal
(1)Sweynesse (2)Valentia
(3)Panzer Division
A race in two. Best tip is for First
Seal ($1.75 to $1.90) which has been
very impressive in her two latest
wins. She takes on the males here
and goes to 2000m and the price
looks a bit skinny. All agree that
Sweynesse ($3.60 to $3.10) will run
a strong 2000m – he looks a real
stayer. Some hope to Valentia ($19),
Hampton Court ($19) and Panzer
Division ($7.50).
7 Top Chances (3)Neena
Rock (2)Chintz (1)Gypsy Diamond
(6)Bouzy Rouge
NZ mare Neena Rock ($3 to $2.70)
gets her chance to win a race here
after two strong finishing efforts –
she is one of the best backed runners
all day. Gypsy Diamond ($4.40 to
$4.60) looks to be struggling but
does come way down in grade and
she has admirers. Bouzy Rouge ($11
to $10), Intimate Moment ($13 to
$10) and Chintz ($5.50) are the
other main chances.
8 Top Chances (13)Law
(11)Telepathic (8)Atmospherical
(5)Drago
Tactical race. Chris Waller says that
Law ($8 to $4.80) will win if he gets
the right run from an awkward
barrier and there has been plenty of
early money for him. Atmospherical
($4.60 to $5) should be ready to do
something now after two runs this
time in. Telepathic ($6 to $5.50) is a
promising mare and she has trialled
exceptionally – she has to be
included in everything. Specking for
Drago ($26 to $10) and Timeless
Prince ($17 to $26) first up.

3 Top Chances (7)Turquoise
King (3)Sistine Demon(5)Tango’s
Daughter (2)Alma’s Fury
Hard race. Turquoise King ($3.80
to $3.30) never runs a bad race and
he is the early favourite – he gets all
the favours in running and is on the
limit. Sistine Demon ($4.40 to
$4.20) suffered his first defeat at
1400m last start and he is widely
tipped to bounce back today.
Tango’s Daughter ($6.50 to $7.50)
is a likely improver second up
Alma’s Fury ($6 to $5) is popular
this morning.
4 Top Chances
(4)Overreach (3)Not Listenin’tome
(1)Sessions (7)Rubick
Terrific race but hard to line them
up. Overreach ($4.20 to $3.80) has
been off the scene for 18 months but
has been trialling brilliantly and will
be hard to run down. 3yo Rubick
($3.50) takes on the older horses but
has also been working well. The
experts can see Not Listenin’tome
($4 to $4.40) getting a beautiful run
and be in a position to pounce in the
straight. Sessions ($15) could
improve lengths without shocking.
5 Top Chances (9)Big
Memory (2)Sangster (10)Signoff
(1)Protectionist
Sangster ($8 to $7.50) should have
won the JRA Cup last start and he is
ready for the mile and a half now.
Big Memory ($6.50) comes off a
good run in the same race and he
can be much closer in running today.
Signoff ($5 to $4.60) disappointed
last start but he has admirers today

6 Top Chances (3)Fawkner
(10)Dissident (4)Happy Trails
(11)Dear Demi
Some have dropped off Dissident ($4
to $4.40) at 2000m but he is a
genuine WFA performer and can win
– some good money has come for
him. Fawkner ($5 to $4.80) is the
other one that has had good support
on an excellent first up effort behind
Foreteller ($12) and his second up
stats are compelling. Happy Trails
($7.50 to $7), Sacred Falls ($4.60 to
$5) and Dear Demi ($12 to $10) are
in the mix.
7 Top Chances (8)Solicit
(4)Trust In A Gust
(3)Commanding Jewel (6)Bull
Point
The in-form Trust In A Gust ($5.50)
is a deserved favourite although he
goes up sharply in the weights – he
gets the gun run. Some were
disappointed with Commanding
Jewel ($10) last start but she had
issues and could easily bounce back
today. Bull Point ($7), Atlante ($9)
and Arabian Gold ($6) are near the
head of the betting for good reason.
Steady money for Solicit ($8 to $6)
and Late Charge ($21).
8 Top Chances (6)Lumosty
(5)Amicus (3)Afleet Espirit (2)Go
Indy Go
Plenty of money for Lumosty ($4 to
$3.80) and tipsters think she is the
one looking for the mile. No knock
on Afleet Espirit’s ($5 to $5.50)
recent form and Amicus ($11) was
close up behind her last time when a
month between runs. Go Indy Go
($5 to $4.60) and Bring Me The
Maid ($5.50) are the class fillies and
the respective stables expect to see
them get back to their best today.
9 Top Chances (3)Rich
Enuff (7)Looks Like The Cat
(2)Almalad (4)Shooting To Win
Hard to go against Rich Enuff
($2.60 to $2.45) on his brilliant form
and tipsters see him getting a perfect
run. Looks Like The Cat ($6 to
$6.50) should be thereabouts gain
and he is particularly suited up to
the mile. Almalad ($8.50 to $7.50) is
unbeaten at the distance. Shooting
To Win ($6) is the other main
chance – he may still be improving.
Some money for Chivalry ($15 to
$13).
10 Top Chances
(2)Shamal Wind (1)Girl Guide
(4)Gig (11)Soosa Rama
Girl Guide ($3.70 to $3.50) trying
for three in a row and Shamal Wind
($2.40 to $2.45) which ran amazing
sectionals last start dominate the
betting and tipping and should fight
out the finish – a leaning to the latter
this morning. Some money for Soosa
Rama ($21) at good odds. Griante
($10 to $12), Fare Well ($15 to $11)
and Gig ($15 to $19) for the exotics.
