Liturgist: Let all who seek to grow in their faith enter this place for worship!
People: We would have the Lord mold us and shape us into God’s people
today.
Liturgist: God is the Potter and we are the clay in the Great Creator’s hands.
People: We yield our lives unto the Lord to mold us as is pleasing before God.
Liturgist: Praise be to the Lord, for God is faithful to prepare us for eternity.
All: Blessed be the name of the Lord!
**HYMN #51
Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah
CWM RHONDDA
**CALL TO CONFESSION:
Prayer:
Lord, like children we insist that we can manage by ourselves, and we have tried
to deny You the opportunity to guide us and lead us into becoming the mature people of faith
You created us to be. We have missed both receiving Your blessings and being able to pass them
on to others because of our stubbonness. Forgive us, Lord. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon
The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ His only Son, our
Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was
crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended
into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge
the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the
forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
**THE PEACE:
Leader: May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
People: And also with you.
(You may greet one another)
**Gloria Patri: Glory be to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen. Amen.

O Heavenly
Father, God of
Love, You gave
us Your Son
Jesus to be not
only Physician
of our souls but
also Healer of
our bodies and minds. Lord Jesus, I
turn to You in this time of illness.
Please come to me now, and lay your
healing hands on me. Let the warmth,
peace and healing power of Your
Spirit fill me now with Your life and
love, I receive You, Lord Jesus! Heal
me According to Your Divine Will,
Lord Jesus, and enable me to serve
You with a healthy body, soul, and
spirit. May Your Joy, O Lord, be my
strength this day.
Amen.
