2014 – 2015 Season
2014 – 2015 Season The Rothko Chapel inspires people to action through art and contemplation, nurtures reverence for the highest aspirations of humanity, and provides a forum for global concerns. The Rothko Chapel presents programs that elevate the spirit, foster dialogue, and champion ethical action. The season is organized thematically into three series. 2014-2015 Season Living As If: The Art, Spirituality, and Practice of Non-Violence What would the world look like if we were all living as if violence is not an option? This series raises awareness about systemic violence and cultivates the practices to counter it. What constitutes violence? What approaches have been developed to end the vicious cycle of an eye for an eye? From September through May, teachings, dialogues, films and experiential offerings equip us intellectually and spiritually to practice non-violence.
