Buddies Needed.The Special Needs ministry is looking for individuals
willing to be a buddy to a few of our special needs friends who are being
mainstreamed in a Sunday School class. Contact Amanda Brouwer

Support Our GEMS Ministry. There are only three Wednesdays left to buy
Fun Pasta from GEMS! Sale ends October 22. Look for the table at Family
Night, search out a Gems girl, or contact Becky at [email protected].
Cadet Volunteers. Whether you are available every week to serve as a 1st or
4th grade leader, or on a limited basis to share your skills during our project
time, we would like to have several more guys join us to invest in Calvary's
young boys in Cadets on Wednesday nights. We have open positions to serve
weekly, monthly, or on rotation. Contact Doug Bol at [email protected].
Ladies. Put on your comfy clothes and join us for a fun free movie night watching,
"Mom's Night Out," on Tuesday, October 28 at 7-9 p.m. in the Lodge Game
Room. Bring a friend, your favorite blanket and pillow, and we will take some

Open Lodge Volunteer. Open Lodge is in need of an adult volunteer for
Elementary Lodge on Mondays, from 4:30-5 or 6 p.m. Contact Karen at

Grace Quest Support Group. A support group called “Grace Quest,” for people
dealing with mental illness including their family and friends, meets the first and
third Mondays of each month at 7 p.m. in the Lodge Flex Room. Contact Daniel

Families Victorious Annual Event. Join us for our Sixth Annual Ministry Event,
on Thursday, October 23 at 7 p.m. at Calvary Church. This year's theme is "Plan
to Prosper." Dan Seaborn from Winning at Home will be our guest speaker, and
Terri McFarland, a local Christian recording artist, will provide special music.
Tickets are online at familiesvictorious.org for $10, and $15 at the door. Doors
will open at 6 p.m. A dessert buffet will follow the evening's program.
Honduras-February 2015. A cultural, experiential coffee trip to beautiful,
mountainous La Union, Honduras is scheduled for February 20-26 (Dates are

Biggest Losers Is Back! If you have a lot or maybe just a little weight to
lose, you are welcome to join us. We are planning weekly home weigh-ins and
three on site weigh-ins October, January, and April. There is a $20 joining fee
