Northern Classic is open to all NPC competitors, regardless of residency. NPC registration may be purchased at check-­‐in (NPC membership for 2014 is $120 cash/check only). Juniors and Masters competitors must qualify by age on the date of the show (proof of age must be provided at check-­‐in). All competitors will follow NPC rules, guidelines and mandatory poses. Northern Classic Bodybuilding, Physique, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships is a National Qualifier. Eligibility is good for one (1) year. Master classes do not qualify for OPEN National Level Competitions. Qualifications are only good for the Masters Division at Nationals. Elite Productions, LLC – 8202 N 9 St., Tacoma, WA 98406 Entry Fees: $109.90 ($100.00 entry + WA State Sales Tax of $9.90) for all divisions except for Junior Fitness which is $54.35 ($50.00 entry + WA State Sales tax of $4.35). Dual entries are $164.25 ($150.00 entry + WA State Sales Tax of $14.25). Crossover/dual entry: Competitors may cross-­‐over between Master’s and Open classes, as well between different divisions. If entering more than one class, separate entry fees apply. (Bodybuilding competitors entering multiple divisions will perform their posing routine with the masters/junior class only.) For mail-­‐in entries, Cashier’s check or money orders are preferred and made payable to Elite Productions. For late entries submitted at check-­‐in on October 10, fees must be paid in cash only. Entry confirmation notices will be e-­‐ mailed upon receipt. Entry fees are non-­‐refundable. Entry Deadline: Entries must be received by October 3th, 2014. Late Entries = $219.80 ($200.00 late entry + $19.80 WA State Sales Tax). There will be no exceptions. HOST HOTEL: Hotel Murano – Please check our web site at www.northernclassic.net for information and group rates. Awards: Swords, Medals or Trophies will be presented to the 1st through 5th place winners in each class. Barbarian Swords are awarded to Overall Men’s, Women’s and Master’s Champions. Guidelines: All competitors will follow NPC rules, guidelines and mandatory poses (www.npcnewsonline.com). NOVICE FIGURE ELIGIBILITY Novice figure competitors must not have placed top 2 in any figure competition. Competitors who register for the novice division will be moved to the open division should they place top 2 in any competition prior to the Northern Classic (i.e. 2014 Vancouver Natural, Big Sky Championships, Emerald Cup, Iron Man, Spokane Bodybuilding, etc). It is the competitor’s responsibility to notify us of a change of any change of eligibility due to prior placing. MEN’S PHYSIQUE Competitors will wear board shorts. Shorts must be just above the knee in length and can be one inch below belly button, No spandex and no logos are permitted (with the exception of a manufacturer’s logo such as Nike symbol). JUNIOR FITNESS Consists of Fitness round only, 90 second routine and no mandatory moves. Chaperones are required backstage for all Junior Fitness competitors. MUSIC Music is needed for Bodybuilding, Women’s Physique and Fitness only. Absolutely no profanity is allowed and competitors with profanity-­‐
laced music will be subject to disqualification. Bodybuilders & Women’s Physique have a maximum time limit of 60 seconds. Junior Fitness will have a time limit of 90 seconds; Fitness competitors 2 minutes. Music must be submitted by check-­‐in Friday night. No music will be accepted Saturday. Figure, Bikini and Physique classes will use house music. Music can be submitted in advance via email by sending it to: [email protected] by October 3rd. If music is submitted at check in, it must be on CD with the disc containing only the song being used (single track). Include your name and class entered on the CD. Absolutely no profanity is allowed and competitors with profanity-­‐laced music will be subject to disqualification. Elite Productions, LLC reserves the right to refuse m u s i c not meeting these standards. All competitors will perform their routines at night regardless of placing. Tanning: The official tanning sponsor will be Northwest Competition Color, featuring a team of SIX tanning artists including. Competitors will weigh in, be assigned numbers & check in music at this time. Please check-­‐in at this time. Late check-­‐in is limited to only those on a case by th
case basis and must be arranged prior to October 10 . **Competitors Meeting w ill be held at 9:15 AM on Saturday October 11, 2014 for ALL competitors. TRAINERS Anyone who is not competing MUST have a ticket or trainer’s pass to enter the venue for prejudging and/or finals. NO exceptions! To ensure NPC insurance compliance, trainers who require back-­‐stage access must have a valid 2014 NPC card and purchase a trainer’s th
pass during check-­‐in on October 10 . NO PASSES WILL BE ISSUED ON EVENT DAY!! The cost is $55 for the pass (cash only) and will provide entry to pre-­‐judging as well as the night show. No person w ill be permitted back stage without a trainer’s pass and no pass shall be issued to any person w ho does not present a valid 2014 NPC card. PRE-­‐JUDGING will begin at 10:00am. FINALS will begin at 6pm (competitors should be backstage by 5:00pm). SCORE SHEETS: Copies of competitor’s score sheets will be made available after their respective classes are completed. registered to the undersigned may result in disciplinary action against the undersigned including, but not limited to, suspensi on as a member of the NPC and/or
