Lund Farms. She is a 3-D kind of female who long, deep and wide, a real grass to beef

This fancy, deep bodied red heifer is the only bred daughter of Sam 13X that we will
be letting go this year. She is from the same cow family at Balmoral Oaks as Peterson’s
good Eagle bull. She is going to be a tank and will get better and better as she

heifer leave the herd, but her dam is still young and will be entering a flush program in

The Sugar cow family is a quickly becoming a foundation in our herd. No matter what
bull you breed to these cows, big and broody is what you get. Sugar Biscuit is no
exception. She has the frame and depth to continue this tradition. We have retained
females and herdsires from this line with great success. In the 2012 Hill Country
Classic Sale, this heifer’s half-sister sold to Matlock Farms.
When selecting heifers for a sale such as this one, sacrifices must be made. We were
reluctant to part with this heifer because she shows such potential but her mother is
a young Paintearth cow with many years ahead of her and we retained Bee's half sister
last year. Bee is a classy, feminine young lady that should mature into a productive
brood cow like her mother.

This feminine heifer has what it takes to become a productive brood cow and a fancy

the sale as she was one of our picks to stay in the herd. Her dam originated from the
Six S herd at Stony Plain and has never let us down as we have retained two of her
other daughters.
This super heifer carries bloodlines from Western Canada's most successful programs.
Her dam is daughter of Birdtail G Gus 15U and one of our most valued young cows. 3B’s
full brother sold this spring into an up and coming commercial organic beef herd because
of his easy fleshing and moderate size. Also on the dam's side is the Melba Niam female

This heifer comes from a cow which was purchased from the good Diamond herd at
the All Star Classic in 2012. The Unica Maid cow is the easiest keeping cow on the
farm. 1418's sire, Sam 13X, is the only Byland Mission son walking in Canada and has
left the best calf crop we have ever had. All of his calves are thick and deep bodied
and extremely quiet. She will make an excellent junior project and then turn into the
brood cow who will be the dam of your next herdsire.

of 1X as Rama was a natural choice. He compliments her so well that we
think the resulting calves will be very special. Sparkle Delight 1X and her flush
mate sister 2X have developed into two of our most impressive and productive
females. We are really impressed with our Rama calves from 2X and expect
the same will be true for the calves from 1X. 1X is presently being flushed
for a breeder in New Zealand. She has tremendous thickness and volume and
is one of the easiest fleshing females we have ever produced. Being mated
with Rama will ensure calves that are the same.
