FAST-SETTING ONE-COAT REPAIRING PLASTER - WHITE
Polymer-modified - Fiber-reinforced
DESCRIPTION
Polymer-modified, fiber reinforced cementitious fast-setting and fast-drying mortar for repairing old and new
constructions.
Composed of high performance white Portland, hydrated lime, aggregates of selected quality and grain size,
enriched with water-repellent polymer resins and special enhancement additives.
Classified as type CS II/W1 mortar according to EN 998-1.
APPLICATIONS
For repair works to restore plaster segments, as well as any repair to masonry surfaces in construction.
Ideal for repairing corners (edges) and installing corner beads.
Suitable for interior and exterior use.
PROPERTIES







Product of constant and controlled industrial production.
Produced and quality controlled in accordance to European Standard ΕΝ 998-1.
Simplifies speeds up repairing and renovation works.
Provides high water-repellence, while allowing construction materials to breathe.
With high mechanical resistance and excellent adhesion to the substrate.
Prevents cracks.
Significantly reduces the cost and completion time of the project.
APPLICATION METHOD









Substrates must be clean and free of dust, grease or any other substances which can compromise
adhesion.
In the summer months, make sure to damp the substrate to prevent early dehydration of the plaster.
On difficult or very smooth surfaces a spatterdash (rough cast) may precede, consisting of SP 20
improved with LATEX enhancing resin.
Gradually add the content of the bag (25kg) in approx. 8.0 kg of clean water under continuous stirring
until you obtain a lump-free mixture of the desired workability. To prepare the mixture, you can either
use an electrical mixer-mixing pump (rotor-stator) with a standard mortar mixer or a low rotation speed
(approx. 300 r.p.m) power drill.
It is applied like ordinary plaster or masonry mortar and it is treated (rubbed) with a sponge-faced float
approx. 45 min after the application.
Application thickness should be less than 2.0cm per coating.
Setting time varied depending on the substrate's absorptivity, temperature and humidity conditions.
The addition of LATEX enhancing resin can increase slightly RP 3000's setting time.
To avoid the formation of hairline cracks on the surface, avoid the over-processing of the plaster
surface, use of excessive water and working the surface before it is completely set.
RECOMMENDATIONS

Do not mix the product with dirty or salty water.
FINOMIX® RP 3000 1/3


Application of thicker layers and use of the material in temperatures outside the recommended range, as
well as excessive use of water and reworking of the final surface may result in the formation of hairline
cracks on the surface of the plaster.
Temperature during application should be within +5ºC and +35ºC.

conditions in the manufacture plant (temperature, humidity, ventilation, substrate absorption) may affect the properties of the material.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The product RP 3000 contains cement which reacts as alkaline with water and perspiration, and may cause
allergies and/or irritation.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment for eyes and skin (protective clothing, gloves and
goggles).
If skin contact occurs, rinse well with plenty of clean water.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
CONSUMPTION
Approx. 12-14 kg/m2 for 1 cm thick layers.
PACKAGING - STORAGE
Available in 1400kg (35 x 40kg bags) pallets.
Shelf life: At least 12 months from date of production when stored in original unopened packaging, in places
protected from moisture and frost.
