East Croydon is situated on George Street in
Croydon and is the busiest station in the London
area outside of Travel Card Zone 1.
Information from the Office of the Rail Regulator
stipulates that in 2012/13 East Croydon station had
in excess of 6.526 million passenger entries and
exits.
The kiosk is brand new and situated on the new
over bridge adjacent to Platforms 5 & 6.
DESCRIPTION
The successful retailer will operate from a purpose
built kiosk and must be entirely self-contained.
There is no storage available with this kiosk.
The kiosk has power, water and drainage.
We only invite offers from retailers, we are not
looking for any more coffee or catering.
LEASE
The opportunity is being offered on a bi-partite
lease to expire on 22nd January 2016 however
there may be an opportunity to enter into a tripartite lease on a longer term.
Standard Railway Lease Terms will apply. The lease
will not permit assignment or sub-letting.
COSTS
The incoming tenant will be expected to pay the
Landlord’s reasonable legal costs in connection with
the granting of the lease.
INSURANCE
The tenant will be responsible for third party
insurance.
RATING
The ingoing tenant will be responsible for Business
Rates and we recommend that interested parties
contact the Local Rating Authority.
SERVICE CHARGE
There is currently no service charge for the
opportunity. The landlord reserves the right to
introduce any charge in the future.
