October is National Bullying Prevention Month…. "Kind words can be short and easy to speak but their echoes are truly
endless." - Mother Theresa. "A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events & outcomes. It’s a
catalyst & sparks extraordinary results." –Boggs. PIONEERS--What are you doing today that can be the beginning of
positive for others? What spark are you igniting in the world for good? #positiveattitudemonth #unityday2014

Josh finished 12th overall earning him a trip to Semi-State in Brown County! Congrats to Cory
for a great season and Josh on earning another week to compete! (Coach Gansman 10/21)
Good luck to the Lady Pioneer volleyball team as they travel to Gibson Southern tonight for
their first match of Sectionals against the Princeton Tigers. Both Jv and Varsity teams need
to be at BHS this afternoon by 5:00. Bus departs at 5:15. (Coach Rouch 10/21)
Congratulations to Ellen Rouch, our senior on the volleyball team, for making the 2014-2015
Academic All-State volleyball team. (Coach Rouch 10/21)
All boys’ soccer players who are attending the banquet need to have their forms turned into Mendy Frazier
immediately. (Coach Crays 10/21)
The Pioneers JV Football lost a tough one Monday night. The Pioneers were down 8 to 0 before
freshman Parker Roy blocked the Aces punt and fellow freshman Matt Kroeger scooped and scored
to put the Pioneers down 8-6. Mt. Carmel would add a late touchdown in the 2nd quarter to put
them up 16 to 8 at the half. The Pioneers fought all night with touchdowns in the 2nd half by
Dylan Arriago and Matt Kroeger but it wasn't enough and the Pioneers fell 22-18. The JV
Pioneers worked hard this year and improved a lot. Good luck to the Pioneers in the
sectionals Friday. (Coach Blankenship 10/21)

unwanted clothing, shoes, and accessories to donate. All types of baby equipment are also needed. We are
asking each IRP to designate an area of their room to store the clothes until we pick them up. The girls
will come around during IRP on the 23, 27, 29, and 31 to collect. Prizes will be awarded to the IRP class
that donates the most items. (Mrs. Schnur 10/21 – 24)
