We are currently looking to recruit an Operational Support and Evaluation Engineer to assist with technical
issues that arise with both customers and internal staff. The role shall also involve product evaluation to
ensure new lines are fit for release.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:






To be the subject matter expert on technical equipment functionality.
Provide Technical engineering assistance to new product lines.
Provide technical assistance for customers & distributors during/outside normal office hours.
Technical support to BD Team & 7TG staff as required including telephone support
Support product demonstrations as required (occasionally abroad)
Evaluation of product, software and firmware as required
The Person
Candidates wishing to apply should have:





Strong technical and electronics knowledge/IP/TCP Networking essential
Specialist knowledge regarding RF Technologies
An Understanding of principles of TTL
Good customer interface and communications skills and report writing
Proficient in Microsoft packages including Word, Office & Excel

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
 A minimum of four years of experience testing
embedded systems.

IP Networking skills

HND in Telecommunications, Electronics, RF
Engineering or similar
Desirable
 GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths,
grade A-C

