We are currently looking for employee to be hired on indefinite term contract, at the following job
position in Zagreb:
Database Administrator (m/f)
in IT Infrastructure Department within Information Technology and Innovation Division
Your key responsibilities and challenges at this position will be:
BBInstallation
and patching of Oracle RDBMS on UNIX and Linux,
and performance tuning on Oracle production databases,
BBBackup and recovery of Oracle databases using RMAN and user-managed backup and recovery,
BBInstallation, patching and administration of Oracle Application Server,
BBAdministration of Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS,
BBEnforcing security best practices and guidelines,
BBDeveloping procedures and scripts for automation of daily tasks and reporting,
BBCooperation with Software Development Department in database design and implementation processes,
BBDeveloping and documenting formal processes and procedures,
BBParticipating in 24x7 on-call duty for production databases and other related services.
BBAdministration
And required qualifications are:
BBBachelor’s
or Master’s degree (FER, PMF, or other relevant university),
years of relevant experience in Oracle database administration area,
BBWorking knowledge of operating systems (AIX, Linux, Windows), performance tools and shell scripting,
BBWorking knowledge of Microsoft SQL Relational Database Management System,
BBWorking knowledge and understanding of Backup and Recovery concepts and Flashback technologies,
BBUnderstanding of Database Performance tuning and SQL tuning principles,
BBUnderstanding of system performance tuning principles,
BBWorking experience with Oracle Application Server,
BBUnderstanding of Oracle Enterprise Manager,
BBVery good team work capability,
BBExcellent command of English language (both written and spoken).
