HISTORY OF MTC

MTC began as a Job Corps management provider in 1981.
MTC expanded into correctional facility management in 1987.
MTC established its Economic & Social Development division in 2004.
MTC established its MTC Medical division in 2005.
MTC had gross revenues of $29 million in 1981.
MTC had gross revenues of $735 million in 2013.
OPERATIONAL CONTRACTS
MTC has 22 contracts within its Job Corps division including:
• 18 full management contracts at Job Corps centers in 15 states. At 9
of these centers the contracts include student recruitment. At 12 of the
centers, graduate job placement duties are also part of the contract.
• 3 management sub-contracts at Job Corps centers in 2 states and the
District of Columbia.
MTC has 39 contracts within its Corrections division including:
• 25 management contracts at private correctional facilities in Arizona,
California, Florida, Idaho, Ohio, New Mexico, Mississippi, and Texas.
• 14 contracts to provide health and dental care to inmates in California,
Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and Ohio through MTC Medical.
MTC has 1 contract within its Economic & Social Development division
including:
• 1 contract to upgrade existing training programs and establish new
market-driven training programs in Pakistan. The project, funded
by World Bank, is in partnership with the Pakistan Sindh Technical
Education & Vocational Training Authority.
